Children under 6 may accompany their mother to the women's section; older children and teenagers join the section corresponding to their gender. Unique and fascinating
This tour is truly like no other I've ever been on. Some might consider the topic "niche" but it is a unique and fascinating way of looking at a city with so many layers of history and culture. Uğur is a font of knowledge about all sorts of topics and was able to answer my questions off the cuff as well which shows how well he knows his stuff. Highly recommended!

Great tour and great tour guide
We highly recommend this walking tour. It was really interesting and Ugur was a great guide, very informative, friendly and great humour to. On part of the tour we also went through a local shopping area which we found really interesting. That was an added bonus. Ugur is also a registered tour guide - it’s very easy to be approached by fake guides so another good point.

A gem off the well worn path! Not to be missed.
We are so glad we booked this tour with our limited time in Turkey. Ugur is passionate and knowledgeable and we felt very well taken care of during the tour. There are a million options to go to all the standard sites, but this tour is truly unique. We got to check some must-do landmarks off (such as the basilica cistern and grand bazaar), but instead of speeding through a half dozen sites with a large group we got a more in-depth tour and education on the water culture of Turkey, both past and present. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Ugur again and will remember this tour as one of the highlights of our trip.
