Not to be missed!
Han and Ozgur were fantastic guides. Even before we arrived Han had managed to track down paintings done by my relative in the 1800s. He found out that they were on display in the Dolmabahce Palace and even sent me pictures of them from the museum. We spent an extremely enjoyable day exploring Istanbul. We saw so much, learned a lot of history and yet didn’t feel overwhelmed. It was a perfect day! Thanks so much, Han and Ozgur.

Amazing tour! Amazing host!
Had an amazing experience, our host was so friendly and so knowledgeable. He was a lot of fun and had us laughing all day. He took us to some of the most amazing places in Istanbul and also to some places that are unknown to tourists. He took amazing photos of us and even bought us both a gift to take home. We highly recommend this tour!!

Fantastic tour
Absolutely amazing and unique tour of the grand Bazaar. Was able to get a behind the scenes look at various locations that routine tourists cannot see. Great places shared to have food with a tour guide and a great experience overall. It is an amazing location and I cannot imagine anyone better to go with on the tour. 10 out of 10 recommend again and when I come back to Istanbul I will be using same tour guide.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for honered me again with your lovely review and top stars. I pleasure. You’re very much welcome Always. 👍🧿

The best experience in Istanbul
We said that we wanted to experience historical relics, local cuisine, local culture, and Han arranged a wonderful day trip, and in the underground palace he also looked for a Chinese tour to show us; bought a very good quality carpet; and went to a market with hundreds of years of history and a spice market. Overall very liked! However, Han's main language of communication is English, and the whole day's walk is perfect for young people who can communicate in English and are able to experience Istanbul! Finally we bought a lot of dry goods at the spicy bazaar, and Han was very kind to help us with heavy bags, really very careful!
Response from the operator: 非常感谢您再次用您的可爱评论和最高分来表扬我。 永远欢迎您。👍🙏🧿

Why this scores 46
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Istanbul Old City Private Guided Tour One Up to Six: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Istanbul.
How much does Istanbul Old City Private Guided Tour One Up to Six cost?
+
Prices start at $289 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Istanbul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Istanbul Old City Private Guided Tour One Up to Six take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Istanbul is not rushed.
Is Istanbul Old City Private Guided Tour One Up to Six worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Istanbul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Istanbul Old City Private Guided Tour One Up to Six?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Istanbul Old City Private Guided Tour One Up to Six suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Istanbul Old City Private Guided Tour One Up to Six?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Istanbul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Istanbul and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Istanbul Old City Private Guided Tour One Up to Six start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Istanbul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Istanbul?
+
On Outty we rank every Istanbul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Istanbul 1, 2 or 3-Day Private Guided Istanbul Tour, Istanbul Luxury Bosphorus Yacht Cruise with Asian Side Stop, ISTANBUL BEST: Iconic Landmarks Full Day PRIVATE Guided City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Istanbul?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Istanbul?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
