A Day of Bosphorus Beauty and Cultural Delights
Set on this full-day adventure in Istanbul was truly breathtaking! The boat ride along the Bosphorus Strait offered stunning views of majestic bridges, palaces, and mosques. The guided tour of Dolmabahçe Palace was fascinating, and exploring the Spice Bazaar was a sensory delight with its vibrant colors and enticing scents. The highlight was undoubtedly the delicious 3-course meal enjoyed by the beautiful shoreline. This tour is a must-do for anyone visiting Istanbul, offering a perfect blend of sightseeing and cultural experiences.

Horrible tour
No one come to pick us up from the hotel. We have been waiting for more than one hour. Hotel staff try to help us contact the number but no response. Totally bad and I want my money BACK
Response from the operator: Greetings, There was a process in which we had problems such as some reservation notifications not being received in our system. We are sorry that your reservation coincided with this period. In such cases, we immediately look for different solutions and offer to do the tour at another time and if it is not possible, we initiate a full refund. Again, we apologize and hope we can meet again in Istanbul.

Highly recommended
We had the best guide, Diana, who was informative and caring. Ibrahim, our driver, was very kind too. We enjoyed the trip from the beginning till the end. The cruise was a joy. Glad to be on both continents in 1 day!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your comments & thoughts. We would love to see you again on your İstanbul vacations. Best wishes, Caner

A fun day!
Dogus (who is with Istanbul Walks) was great, we really enjoyed our day with her! We have been in Istanbul for almost a week but learned a lot of new and interesting facts, and we wish we had done this tour sooner on our trip because she pointed out a lot of fun things we didn’t know about. My only advice to other travelers, especially Western visitors, is to do your research before entering the Spice Market as it is very easy to be persuaded into purchasing/spending more than intended. We took some of our favorite pictures from the trip on the Bosphorus cruise!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your comments & thoughts. We would love to see you again on your İstanbul vacations. Best wishes, Caner

Wouldn’t recommend
This tour was a disaster from the beginning. We were rescheduled twice and finally we went. If you are looking for something informative with an interactive guide, look somewhere else. At the spice market, we were told nothing of the history but were instead led inside to a vendor and expected to spend money. The tour guide did the least during the Bosphorus cruise. They did not tell us any history about any of the buildings or monuments along the Bosphorus. We were left googling and guessing what the landmarks were. When we arrived at the Asian side for lunch, we were told nothing about the area of the history, instead just led to a restaurant. What was described as a three course lunch was in reality just one course of dry and oily meat. No dessert. The guide was just a baby sitter at the palace and just walked ahead of us and left us to interact with the palace provided headsets without offering any additional insight into the experience. We were told it was because they couldn’t speak inside the palace but we went past many larger sized groups with guides. Super disappointing. Do not book.
Response from the operator: Hello Anne, You are right tour was rescheduled twice but it was not a problem for you and you demanded the first change. We don't have any expectation to spend your money at spice bazaar if you like you can buy things. There are many special, local food, herbs. The group visited 3 mosque in Asian side so it is not just for lunch. After everybody finished their lunch you asked to our guide to eat dessert but there wasn't time for desert. She offered to you an option as if you like you can take it as a package but you didn't accept. There are some people except for you in that tour and they were all happy. Anyway thank you for your comments/thoughts but we can't agree 'babysitter' word about our guide. Thanks Caner

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Istanbul Highlights Bosphorus Stops 1 +2 (Europe + Asia): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Istanbul.
How much does Istanbul Highlights Bosphorus Stops 1 +2 (Europe + Asia) cost?
+
Prices start at $550 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Istanbul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Istanbul Highlights Bosphorus Stops 1 +2 (Europe + Asia) take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Istanbul is not rushed.
Is Istanbul Highlights Bosphorus Stops 1 +2 (Europe + Asia) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 118 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Istanbul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Istanbul Highlights Bosphorus Stops 1 +2 (Europe + Asia)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Istanbul Highlights Bosphorus Stops 1 +2 (Europe + Asia) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Istanbul Highlights Bosphorus Stops 1 +2 (Europe + Asia)?
+
Around 41 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Istanbul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Istanbul and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Istanbul Highlights Bosphorus Stops 1 +2 (Europe + Asia) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Istanbul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Istanbul?
+
On Outty we rank every Istanbul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Istanbul 1, 2 or 3-Day Private Guided Istanbul Tour, Istanbul Luxury Bosphorus Yacht Cruise with Asian Side Stop, ISTANBUL BEST: Iconic Landmarks Full Day PRIVATE Guided City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Istanbul?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Istanbul?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
