Isla Mujeres
The staff aboard our catamaran were amazing! They did a great job of making sure we were taken care of and informed. The actual experience was ok. I was hoping that we would see more of Isla Mujeres. We spent most of the day on the water.

All right day
Hmmm. Had high hopes for this day.. didn’t go as well as planned. Was late getting picked up. Not to the fault of the driver .. but it started us off on the wrong foot. Then the girl at check in tried to get more money out of us. As she was trying to do the same thing to another couple .. ride on boat was nice.. the stops were tourist traps… but the weather was wonderful

Fun day on the island
This was a fun excursion. The snorkeling was some of the most beautiful reef I have ever seen with a ton of aquatic life. The crew on the catamaran were very entertaining, kept the good times and drinks flowing. The island is very busy and touristy. I highly suggest you rent a golf cart to your and check out the whole island. It is quite beautiful on the south coast as well but you would never make it on foot. The beach on the north side was beautiful, but packed.
Response from the operator: Hi Beth, You have done best out your time and underatood exactly what this tour is all about, well done! Thank you for your great description of what to do and expect from this experience and visit to Isla Mujeres, suggest next time go a bit further on north tip beach to get a better spot, with a huge bank of sand, natural swimming pool on sea and gorgeous view to Costa Mujeres & Cancun Bay. We are very happy you have enjoyed your experience on and off board. See you next time. Kind regards

Beautiful Experience
My favorite part was snorkeling because this was something I have never done and always wanted to do in my bucket list.

My sisters and I went on this short excursion. Loved the crew, the liveliness, the friendliness, everything about it.
Response from the operator: Great to hear that, it's always a pleasure to make memorable your trip and put to your service all the experience and true warmness of our crew. See you soon.

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Isla Mujeres Catamaran Luxury Sailing Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.
How much does Isla Mujeres Catamaran Luxury Sailing Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Isla Mujeres Catamaran Luxury Sailing Experience take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.
Is Isla Mujeres Catamaran Luxury Sailing Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Isla Mujeres Catamaran Luxury Sailing Experience?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Isla Mujeres Catamaran Luxury Sailing Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Isla Mujeres Catamaran Luxury Sailing Experience?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Isla Mujeres Catamaran Luxury Sailing Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cancun?
+
On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cancun?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cancun?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
