Party Boat
This is an all day thing. We were picked up at our hotel around 10:40 and made it back around 9pm We arrived at the dock around noon, were charged an additional $20usd per person (cash or card), then headed out to the first spot shortly after. We didn't actually sail. They used the motor the entire time. We didn't realize this was going to be a party boat. They had music blasting and pushed drinks on us. The drinks were included, but our group was mostly interested in sightseeing. The snorkeling was fun although I'd recommend bringing your own. They seem to clean them by soaking them in dish soap which ended up making me throw up. I also recommend wearing the fins since the water pushes you in all sorts of directions. There's no shade except for the back of the boat which could probably fit about 4 people. After snorkeling we headed to the island for a lunch buffet. Food was pretty good. The aguachile was the best part. We stayed there for about an hour. They then took us to another part of the island where we rented a golf cart for an additional fee. It's cheaper if you rent one on your own on the island. Overall it was okay. I didn't like being charged an additional fee and didn't enjoy the taste of dish soap. I personally don't think I'd do this one again.

Long full day of activities and fun!
Full day of adventure and fun! Pack your energy and endurance! Snorkeling then lunch at Isla Mujeres ZaZa resort, back on boat to another resort in town to explore the shops.

Wonderful experience!
It was an amazing experience that everyone should experience of vacationing in Cancun, the crew was very nice and welcoming, very attentive and knowledgeable. The island is very beautiful, lots of attractions and shops, drove a golf cart around the island for about 1.5 hours, ate lunch at zaza bar, went snorkeling and saw lots of pretty fish and stone structures at the bottom of the ocean. Water is crystal clear and all shades of blue. Bring money!!

The best day
Being out in the breeze is wonderful in this warm, humid location. The water was refreshing while snorkeling & swimming. The crew was friendly & very accommodating.

Not great Snorkeling.
This trip was ok is you want about 20 minutes snorkeling after a long car ride and boat ride. Quick in and out of the water with little to see. then off to the island for the next 3 hours. To us we prefer snorkeling over wandering around on dry land. Overall was not worth the cost. Will not do this or recommend this trip.

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Isla Mujeres Catamaran Luxury Sailing Experience from Puerto Morelos: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.
How much does Isla Mujeres Catamaran Luxury Sailing Experience from Puerto Morelos cost?
+
Prices start at $79 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Isla Mujeres Catamaran Luxury Sailing Experience from Puerto Morelos take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.
Is Isla Mujeres Catamaran Luxury Sailing Experience from Puerto Morelos worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Isla Mujeres Catamaran Luxury Sailing Experience from Puerto Morelos?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Isla Mujeres Catamaran Luxury Sailing Experience from Puerto Morelos suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Isla Mujeres Catamaran Luxury Sailing Experience from Puerto Morelos?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Isla Mujeres Catamaran Luxury Sailing Experience from Puerto Morelos start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cancun?
+
On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cancun?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cancun?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
