Not my favorite, but may work for families with young kids
Here is my honest, unpaid review The property is small. It also seems more family-friendly (smaller kids). Other beach clubs I've been to felt less like you were sharing the pool with the hotel guests and more like a beach club that HAPPENED to have a hotel on the property. Our day was from 730 am pick-up at our home to 4pm drop off at the clock tower. 730 am is not bad, but then we didn't leave until almost 9. Also this beach club is 40-50 mins away BY BOAT. So you have to be OK with that. We were able to get breakfast (you had to pay), lunch was included which was the typical (fish, coconut rice, plantains). The pergolas cover you up the whole time, but if you want to get sun, you'll have to sit in the sand portion of the property. Towels they provide and meh. Blue towels that work, but they looked worn. They also were not on the chaise lounges when we arrived and so everyone didn't get a towel. Over all it was an OK experience. Beach was clear, a bit rocky, but some soft sand too. Pretty clear blue. The pool is salt water. The staff was attentive and friendly.

The boat ride was...
The boat ride was pleasant and fun! The guide was friendly, positive, and also explained in english, which was very helpful to us. The swimming and jumping in off the dock outside the sea pool was good for an extra swimming option. The lunch was good.

Reasonable
Very nice place, but could stay longer in the place, it is about 1:30 boat. Hotel beach co stones in the background, uncomfortable so you can't swim.

Excellent Getaway in the Islands
A beautiful place to spend a few nights in the Rosario Islands. My family had a great time snorkeling, scuba diving, visiting the aquarium and laying my the pool. Excellent food and drinks as well! Staff was so kind and helpful!

+

+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Isla del Sol pass - Cartagena?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cartagena can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cartagena and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Cartagena?
+
On Outty we rank every Cartagena experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cartagena Antigua & Barrio Getsemani group with audio system, Historic Center & Getsemaní Shared Tour in Cartagena, Cartagena VIP Boat Tour: Rosario Islands & Snorkel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cartagena?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cartagena?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
