super friendly en patient
At the beginning, we were doubting if we should choose Aqua Divers Cozumel because it is a relatively young dive shop but we have never regretted it! I did my open water with Fer and he was super friendly en patient. I could not have wished for a better dive instructor. The organisation was good and we did very nice dives, so I really recommend Aqua Divers Cozumel! aquadiverscozumel.com

Amazing experience
Amazing experience! My husband and I did the 3 day PADI open water course with Fer from Aqua Diver Cozumel and everything was great! Always super quick email response and clear notes on what we should expect for the course. During the course, Fer is always very patient and gives clear instructions which makes me very confident before every dive we did together. During the dives, we spotted nurse shark, turtle, rays, lobsters, giant crabs, and LOTS of beautiful fishes and corals. Really opened a whole new world for us! https://aquadiverscozumel.com/ https://www.instagram.com/aquadiverscozumel/

Excellent costumer service
recently went scuba diving with Aqua Divers and had an amazing experience! The team was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire trip. They provided food and fruits which was a nice touch and made the day even better. The equipment was in excellent condition and the briefing before the dive was very thorough, ensuring that we were all prepared and knew what to expect. The dive itself was breathtaking, with stunning coral reefs and a variety of marine life. The guide was knowledgeable and pointed out interesting creatures and features throughout the dive. Overall, I highly recommend Aqua Divers for anyone looking to go scuba diving in Cozumel. Their friendly service, excellent equipment, and attention to detail make for an unforgettable experience.
Response from the operator: thanks for diving with us Bill looking forward to have you back in the future

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Introductory Diving Class in the Cozumel Reefs: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.
How much does Introductory Diving Class in the Cozumel Reefs cost?
+
Prices start at $194 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Introductory Diving Class in the Cozumel Reefs take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.
Is Introductory Diving Class in the Cozumel Reefs worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Introductory Diving Class in the Cozumel Reefs?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Introductory Diving Class in the Cozumel Reefs suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Introductory Diving Class in the Cozumel Reefs?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Introductory Diving Class in the Cozumel Reefs start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cozumel?
+
On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cozumel?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cozumel?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
