Second experience and all above expectations ❣️

Thanks to Patricia,Siana and Simon for making our Easter escape to Amboseli park a wonderful & comfortable experience, This was our second adventure with them after having travelled to Maasai Mara back in 2019. Definitely our preferred tour partners and already brain storming where to travel again together in the near future. Asante sana. You made us very happy: Vania & Daniel

Financially unstable company - do NOT book with them !

After a severe accident, we had to cancel our safari 3 months prior to the start. Despite dozens of emails and promisses, nothing was ever refunded !

Honest, reliable and helpful safari company

After a lot of research on different safari operators I selected travel for change for our safari last year. Patricia was excellent at planning what would have been an amazing safari and beech holiday in Kenya. Sadly due to the pandemic we were unable to go which was a great disappointment to us. However, Patricia was very understanding and we set up a refund agreement to help the business keep going and to allow her to pay the refund at the end of July 2021. This came good yesterday so despite our sadness of a lost holiday we have not lost our money. I can highly recommend this company.

Truly an excellent choice of safari organiser

A company which delivers excellence! It’s true! A local Kenyan/Tanzanian company which we have just used for our first Kenyan safari trip. We were attracted to them initially by their reviews and prompt replies to emails. I was able to pay the deposit by credit card for a small fee (<4%) to protect my position. We chose a seven day trip to the Samburu, Aberdare, Nakuru and Masi Mara parks/reserves, with a plane return to our Nairobi hotel. The premium category camps we chose as offering excellent value for money. The tour went without a hitch. We were welcomed at our Nairobi hotel and introduced to our driver, Godfrey. He was simply excellent. He was a good driver on the variety of Kenyan roads (!!) and was good company without being over-bearing. We had a useful splattering of Swahili by the end! His knowledge of the parks/reserves and friendship of the other driver guides in the parks/reserves was very helpful in making the safari drives interesting and successful. Top marks for Godfrey! We were grateful to have been upgraded to a Landcruiser for our journey which is much better suited to the terrain than a van. So, we were initially nervous to have chosen Travel for Change Africa, then relieved when they turned up to welcome us and then very pleased indeed to have been so fortunate to have used them as the safari progressed and ended. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again ourselves or to recommend them to our friends.

    What a trip!

We have been on a Safari in Kenya organized with the amazing help of Patricia. She promptly answered all of our questions and really helped in deciding what choices were best for our trip. We have chosen the Semi Luxury package and all of the lodges/camps we stayed at were exceptional and in amazing locations. Do ask for Patrick! He was our fantastic guide during this trip, in addition to being a very enjoyable person to travel with. He really made sure we were able to see the big5 and so much more in excellent conditions. We really had good time and will probably come back some time. Thank you Patricia and Patrick and all the travelforchangeafrica team for the excellent tour organization. We already recommended you to our friends when they would be travelling to Kenya.

Introducing Kenya Safari Package: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.

How much does Introducing Kenya Safari Package cost?

    +

Prices start at $2,670 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Introducing Kenya Safari Package take?

    +

Plan for about 144 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.

Is Introducing Kenya Safari Package worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Introducing Kenya Safari Package?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Introducing Kenya Safari Package suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 144-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Introducing Kenya Safari Package?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Introducing Kenya Safari Package start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nairobi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Wild 5-Day Safari: Magical Mara, Nakuru Wonders & Hell's Gate, 2 Days Amboseli Safari using a 4x4 Landcruiser jeep(with options), Kibera Slum Tour with Lucas. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nairobi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nairobi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Introducing Kenya Safari Package?

    +

Included: Private transportation; Other; Lunch; Two-way long range high frequency radio communication in each vehicle; and Dinner. Not included: Alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks at the camps; International flight and departure taxes; Laundry services; and Tips and gratitude. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does Introducing Kenya Safari Package include hotel pickup?

    +

Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 5 listed pickup locations in and around Nairobi. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.

What languages is Introducing Kenya Safari Package offered in?

    +

It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Introducing Kenya Safari Package?

    +

Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.

Is Introducing Kenya Safari Package wheelchair or stroller accessible?

    +

The operator notes: Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap; and Specialized infant seats are available. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.

What happens to Introducing Kenya Safari Package if the weather is bad?

    +

This experience depends on good weather. If it is canceled because of poor weather, you are offered a different date or a full refund.

What do travelers say about Introducing Kenya Safari Package?

    +

Across 6 reviews averaging 4.3 out of 5, recurring themes include the guide, organization, knowledge and storytelling. Travelers single out the guide as the reason the experience works.
