Great 1st tour for Istanbul
Barış is an exceptional guide — flexible, knowledgeable and genuinely great company We booked this as a shore excursion off our cruise, arriving into Istanbul at 1pm with limited time, and it turned out to be the highlight of our visit. Barış was outstanding. Before we even started we asked him to completely reverse the running order — we needed the Grand Bazaar first because it closes at 7pm and shuts on Sundays, and it was our only chance to see it. He rearranged the entire day without hesitation and made it work perfectly. That flexibility alone made the tour. He is seriously knowledgeable. Not just dates and facts, but the stories that actually stay with you. He explained traditional arranged marriage customs here, including the one where the young woman puts salt in the coffee if she isn't interested — so the man knows without a word being said and nobody loses face. We're still laughing about it days later. The Basilica Cistern was extraordinary, the Blue Mosque genuinely beautiful, and Barış was patient and respectful about the dress code requirements at each site. What really set him apart was that he stayed and had dinner with us at the end of the day. That's not something you get from a guide who's just working through a checklist. If you want someone who will adapt the tour to what you actually need rather than running a fixed script, ask for Barış. Highly recommended

Get the most out of your one day in Istanbul.
Mustafa (Jack) lead our group of 7 on a full day tour of the histrionic center of Istanbul. He got us through the blue Mosque in a timely manner then found a shady spot to sit and explain about history of the city. Mastiff listed out things we could see and gave us the ability to pick and choose what we wanted to do. When we had free time to explore the Grand Bazzar he was still able to some of us the find a place to sit and wait for the shoppers in our group.
