Enter a unique immersive experience that will take you to know the legend, history and art of making tequila, the most emblematic drink in Mexico. Throughout the experience, amazing 3D details will bring the narrative to life, embroiling you in a journey full of culture and tradition. The experience begins with a welcome cocktail prepared by our mixologist, who will mark the perfect start before Mayahuel, goddess of the agave, leads you through this fascinating journey full of discovery. The adventure culminates in our exclusive cava, recognized with the distinctive “T” of the Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT), guarantee of authenticity and quality. There you will live a tasting guided by a Tequila Expert, who will take you to explore the aromas and flavors of a special reserve of 100% Agave Azul tequilas, carefully selected especially for this experience and that you will not find anywhere else.

What you'll see and do
Our meeting point will be at Teatro Vallarta, where we will welcome you to begin the tour inside the theater, in a special area set up for the experience. Once inside, we’ll guide you through a sensory journey where you’ll receive special glasses that bring the artwork in the venue to life. Next, we’ll move to a room where we’ll share the history and origins of this ancestral drink. Through videos, projections, and video mapping, you’ll discover the fascinating story behind tequila. We’ll then head to another room to explain the tequila-making process, followed by a fun activity where you’ll explore the aromas and flavors of tequila. The final stop is the tasting session, where you'll learn how to savor tequila like a true professional. The tour ends in a souvenir shop where you can purchase your own bottle of tequila.

A highlight of our vacation!
David, the Tequila Sommelier, or Catador, is the only certified expert of his kind in Puerto Vallarta and he was a wealth of information. We were greeted with a delicious cocktail made by the mixologist, Martin. Before the full tasting, the tour takes you through an interactive and realistic display, including 3D art, that educates you on the mythological origin story of Agave, its present day history, and finally the processes used to make it through the years, across the world. We felt as though they shared a very special piece of Mexico’s culture with us and we will always remember this tour! We had many questions and David always had answers and was very accommodating. The tasting was prefaced with an experience meant to open your mind smelling many flavor notes brought out from the distillation process. The tasting room was very nice and Martin had prepared us each plates of snacks meant to compliment and enhance the tasting process. We’ve done wine tasting but this was much much more interesting and for someone who wasn’t a huge fan of tequila, I have been converted! Gratuity was not expected but appreciated. They also had a store of Tequilas available for purchase, the kinds we tasted as well as many others that they also gave us tasters of. It was a great experience, education, and awakening of your taste buds, we highly recommend!

Learn, experience and toast to life
Very informative and unique experience all centered on tequila. David and Marten were excellent hosts and tour guides. Once we left the main floor and walked upstairs, we were surprised at how much the experience changed. Lots of tastings, lots of stories and super fun experience to do with friends.

Tequila Tasting - Don’t miss out.
Our hosts, David and Martin, were amazing. When you come to PV, you must stop here. We have been in PV for 5 days and have seen so many amazing things, but this Tequila experience made our vacation.
