Over promised, under delivered and poor customer service
We booked a tour to Koroyanitu National Heritage Park through Preti at Iconic Tours Fiji. We were told the tour included transport, a guide, a 4-hour hike to the mountain peak, visits to three waterfalls, and transfer to our next hotel in Lautoka. This was also shown to us in promotional material and discussed during booking. The pickup and transport to the village were excellent and we have no complaints about that part of the experience. However, after signing in at the village and beginning the hike, our guide took us to only two waterfalls. When we reached the junction where the trail continued to the peak, the guide informed us that our booking only included the two waterfalls and that he would not take us to the summit. This was completely different from what we believed we had purchased. We attempted to contact Preti at the time but received no response. Upon returning to the village, we spoke to the office staff who also stated that the peak was not included in our tour. We then encountered another issue. We were told our driver had developed vehicle problems and had left, resulting in us waiting approximately 45 minutes for another vehicle after completing what was ultimately only a 2-hour hike rather than the advertised 4-hour experience. When the replacement taxi arrived, we sought confirmation that the transfer was included, as originally agreed. After returning, we raised our concerns with Preti. Rather than acknowledging the discrepancy between what was sold and what was delivered, she immediately became defensive and suggested we had not spoken to the guide or attempted to contact her. We requested a partial refund due to receiving significantly less than what had been represented to us, but this was refused. When we mentioned that we would leave a review reflecting our experience, we were accused of blackmail. We were then told that the matter would be discussed with the driver and that we would receive a call back, but no follow-up ever occurred. The most disappointing part was not the hike itself, which was enjoyable, but the difference between what was promised and what was delivered, combined with the lack of customer service when we tried to resolve the issue.

A change for you
The waterfall was closed so we were taken elsewhere to another water. A bit of a hike but beautiful.

Amazing day, Sunny is the BEST!!!
We had originally booked through TripAdvisor and the night before they cancelled it because 4 more people didn't book it. Iconic tours contacted me directly to make sure I knew it had been cancelled so I asked her if they had a tour available that was like it. She told me she could do the same tour for just us. I was elated. We got a private tour with Sunny who I can't sing his praises enough. He had to take us to 4 ATM's before I could find one that worked. He showed us all the amazing sights, but our favorite was our visit to the Village with the Cava ceremony and guided hike to the beautiful waterfall. Our guide was Brenda who is 13 yoa and was the highlight of the day. She had the most beautiful smile and contagious laugh. She made our day so special. So informative and sweet. Loved our day!!! Sunny started as our guide, but we finished the day as friends. Highly, highly recommend this tour and you have to have Sunny. Can't wait to go back and see Fiji with our new friend Sunny!!

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
iconic waterfall tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nadi.
How much does iconic waterfall tour cost?
+
Prices start at $112 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nadi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does iconic waterfall tour take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nadi is not rushed.
Is iconic waterfall tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nadi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule iconic waterfall tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is iconic waterfall tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book iconic waterfall tour?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nadi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nadi and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does iconic waterfall tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nadi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nadi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nadi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Transfer-Nadi International Airport to Hotels, Jet Boat Safari on the Sigatoka River, Private Departure Transfer to Nadi Airport from Your Hotel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nadi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nadi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
