Had the best time on the Jet Boat River Safari

This experience was amazing! I really enjoyed learning more about Fijian history and culture. Getting to visit a local village was a highlight of the trip and something I feel very grateful to have done. Everyone was so welcoming and lovely and we enjoyed a delicious lunch. We got to dance together, watch a kava ceremony and taste kava. It was absolutely incredible. Captain Knox was amazing as well and did a great job with the spins on the way back! We were soaked! Definitely bring a change of clothes if you’re planning on booking this. Thank you to the whole team! I definitely recommend this for your holiday in Fiji!

A unique experience in Fiji

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Sigatoka River Safaris. The Captain of our jet boat was Fini, a female in a male orientated society, who is a strong, young Fijian woman from a nearby village. She not only gave us a great ride up the shallow depths of the winding Sigatoka River, but also told us about Fijian village life. When we arrived to the village we were welcomed in traditional Fijian style by the village men, followed by the Karva ceremony. We noted their partly destroyed church sitting up on a higher level to the village which was damaged by a cyclone a few years ago. The village women prepared a tasty lunch of their own home grown ingredients for everyone. It was really well received and appreciated. My husband who finds difficulty in walking didn’t have any issues accessing the boat etc. The trip would suit young and old alike. I would highly recommend Sigatoka River Safaris if you’re visiting Fiji as there’s nothing else else like this in Fiji.

Great experience on Sigatoka boat Safari

Well worth the money, village tour, lunch and dancing was great fun. Our boat Captain Laps (aka Hot Laps) was super friendly and his sharing of local village life was really interesting. The boat ride was fantastic. There is really nothing to say other than give it a go, I don't think you would be disappointed. Our family of 8 had a great time.

Fun, exciting and a wonderful learning experience.

The boat ride was fun. Freddy was our driver and he was wonderful giving us all kinds of information about Fiji. We stopped at a village and had a fantastically wonderful lunch made by the women of the village with food they have grown themselves. It was a wonderful experience, one I would do again.
