    Best Bachelorette Event

My sister and two friends booked this tour as a bachelorette party for us, the day before my wedding. I preferred an alcohol free friends group acitivity in London and this was perfect. Our tour guide Jen was superb. She has high energy and lots of knowledge about the ice cream and chocolate process along with history of London. We met up in Covent Garden and walked to lots of different ice-cream/gelato spots up to Soho. There were surprise flavours, second rounds and take away cookie. Some places were spots where I walked past many times in London and did not have a chance to explore. So we learned lots of new good ice cream spots. We had a lot of fun and delicious ice cream. I might book this again for another event and definitely recommend any ice cream / gelato and sorbet lover.

Response from the operator: Thank you! I'm so glad you were happy with your surprise! It was so nice to spend the evening with you all. I hope the wedding party went brilliantly and I do hope to see you again! Thanks for taking the time to write. :-)

    A very tasty experience!

Great insight and ice cream knowledge from our guide, Scott, and lots of lovely ice cream parlours visited. Recommended.

Response from the operator: Thanks so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed!

Unique and a perfect afternoon ice-cream tour

Excellent ice-cream tour of Soho & Covent Garden with Scott and 'background customer service' from Jen. Six-or-so stop-offs, sampling multiple ice-creams; gelatos; sorbets and a custard. A personal favourite of mine was the lime & mint although surprisingly for me the chocolates were much smoother and delicious than I'd normally go for. Recommend !

Response from the operator: Thank you for writing a review - especially such a nice one. I really appreciate it. I never used to like chocolate ice cream (or gelato) until I tried the ones on the tour. So glad you liked them too. Hopefully see you again sometime!

Amazing Guide and Fab Ice Cream

Scott, our guide, was incredible! He put us at ease straight away and his knowledge and sense of humour were amazing. The ice creams we got to try were fabulous and if you get the chance, we highly recommend trying the Basil and Chilli ice cream! Give it a go, you'll be pleasantly surprised! (If you like the flavour of pesto pasta!)

Response from the operator: Thanks so much for taking the time to write this! I'm glad you loved Scott as much as we do! :-)

Life is better with ice cream

My wife booked the Ice Cream Ecstasy Tour as a surprise for my birthday. We had such a fantastic time. The tour was led by Scott who was a lovely guy - friendly, knowledgeable and super efficient at distributing ice cream, sorbets and gelato to 7 eager recipients! We went to five different places across Soho and Covent Garden and each one had been chosen to give us a different understanding on what’s on offer. My favourite flavour was Snowflake’s Sea Salted Caramel with Gelatorino’s Old Fashion Cream a close second and my wife’s favourite was La Gelatiera’s award winning Honey, Rosemary and Orange Zest and Gelatorino’s Breakfast in Turin in second place. Highlights also included the chocolate milkshake, the thick hot chocolate and the grilled white chocolate that we had along the way. We finished the tour 100% full of ice cream, gelato and sorbet and with a much broader understanding of the processes and history that had gone into producing them.

Ice Cream Tour of London: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does Ice Cream Tour of London cost?

    +

Prices start at $269 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Ice Cream Tour of London take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is Ice Cream Tour of London worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Ice Cream Tour of London?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Ice Cream Tour of London suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Ice Cream Tour of London?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Ice Cream Tour of London start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

    +

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

    +

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
