    Best experiences with Mongolian Explorer

Mongolian Explorer managed to get us tickets for the Mongolian Traditional Dance and Music Performance + Bökh Wrestling with no problems at all. Tickets and transfers were handled smoothly without any issue. Communication via Whatsapp was always super fast and friendly. So when we had one spare day left in Ulaanbaatar, we decided to give them another try for a daytrip to Hustai National Park to spot some of the famous wild horses and enjoy Mongolias beautiful nature one last time. And what can I say: it was simply perfect! Pick-up was on time, car was super comfy and spacious and driver & guide were professional at all times. Even though the winter landscape seemed impossible to drive through - our driver just stopped, took a look and managed to get everywhere with ease - simply amazing! We got to see the wild horses, deers, cows and were really lucky with the great weather. We had lunch at a local nomadic family, which was a fantastic experience and they even managed to get me a vegetarian meal - wow! Our guide was fabulous and knowledgable, sharing many things about Mongolias culture and history, that we didn‘t know yet. So all in all we used their services three times and can recommend them 100%.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed feedback! We are thrilled that we could make your performances, transfers, and your day trip to Hustai National Park so memorable. It's fantastic to hear that our team, vehicle comfort, and guiding made your time in Mongolia special. We truly appreciate your high recommendation and hope to welcome you back again!

    An Outstanding Mongolian Experience

I’ve used this company for airport transfer, but my tour Hustai park was simply spectacular. The Lexus on the tour was a nice touch and the owner/driver couldn’t have been more professional. The scenery on the trip was breathtaking: we saw wild horses, deer, and foxes. However, the highlight of the day was lunch with an indigenous family on the plains of the park. Sitting in a traditional Ger Hut, the whole experience was very charming. And of course, the has several Mongolian Mastiffs which added to the fun. I would definitely use this company again

Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear both your airport transfer and Hustai Park tour were great experiences. It’s amazing that you enjoyed the wildlife, scenery, and the special lunch with a local family in a traditional ger. We’re glad the comfort of the Lexus and the professionalism of your driver added to your day as well. We truly appreciate your kind words and would be happy to welcome you again!

    Highly recommended!

Buhuu was an exceptional tour guide. We had a great time on the Hustai national park tour and managed to view the Przewalski's horses from quite a close distance. The nomadic family was very welcoming and we enjoyed meeting the Bankhar dogs.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re delighted that Buhuu made your Hustai National Park tour so memorable, from seeing the Przewalski’s horses up close to visiting the welcoming nomadic family and meeting the Bankhar dogs. We truly appreciate your recommendation!

How much does Hustai National Park Day Trip cost?

Is Hustai National Park Day Trip worth it?

    +

That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ulaanbaatar, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

How far in advance should I book Hustai National Park Day Trip?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ulaanbaatar can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Ulaanbaatar?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Ulaanbaatar?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
