Learnt much more than we were expecting

This tour is longer than advertised! Please be advised
I booked a 10:30am tour and the Guinness Storehouse visit. The company cancelled my 10:30am tour and slotted me in for the 2pm tour. I anticipated the total activity to be what was advertised which was two hours and 40 minutes. That was not the case. Emmet my tour guide was amazing and I really enjoyed listening to his detailed stories and wealth of knowledge about Ireland and the Guinness family. As we made our way around the city noticed that the tour was exceeding the time limit I anticipated per what was detailed on their booking platform, but I assumed that I’d have enough time to quickly visit the Guinness store and still make it in time for other booked appointments. Once I finally arrived at the Guinness storehouse it was already 3 hours and 15 minutes of a walking tour. I was informed that the Guinness storehouse is 7 levels and interactive with tastings. Because I did not plan for the entire activity to exceed more than 2 hours, I was unable to enter the Guinness house. I was not given a ticket to enter at a later time either. I reached out to the company to ask for that portion of my ticket to be refunded or provided access on a day that was more convenient for my schedule to which I was told not possible. With that in mind, I overpaid for a walking tour and missed out on what would have been the highlight of the experience. Poor taste on this company and their management. Their booking page is misrepresented. Might I also add that my tour included a shadow tour guide, which k believe caused the tour to go a little longer due to this shadow tour guide being taught how to plan for Future tours during my experience. If Emmet were to be partner with another company our start hosting his own tours, I would surely book directly with him, but this company is misleading and does not take the extra measures to rectify mistake.

We also understand your disappointment at missing what you considered the highlight of the experience. However, the tour did operate with the scheduled walking experience and guide, and we cannot agree with the suggestion that LetzGo City Tours deliberately misrepresented the experience. This tour is 2.5 hours before entering the Guinness building. Several people in our group were short on time because of not knowing how long to plan for the tour and exploring the building with activities scheduled after the tour..
