The real story behind Guinness
Andrew was an exceptionally well-informed guide. He was able to give us clear insights into how the Guinness family and brand tied into Irish history, and specifically to Dublin’s landscape, landmarks, and culture. The Guinness storehouse addition added an extra layer and was fun, but it was Andrew’s guidance that really helped inform how Ireland developed politically and socially over the last 1000 years (and yes! We really did go back that far in a meaningful way). My son and I enjoyed it and would recommend for those who want a deeper understanding of local history and political conflicts, and the role of Guinness in that context.

Misleading
Although the guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot we felt that this trip was not marketed fairly. We expected, as did other people, to see the family house and the brewery. The House of Guinness with Guinness Storehouse is misleading. After having watched The House of Guinness before we left to come to Ireland we were very excited about this tour but it did not fulfill what we expected to see.

False Advertising for Guinness Storehouse Tour
The ad is beyond misleading, it is false advertising. It states with Guinness storehouse, but that is not true. The guide told us that it only included a pint of Guinness at the end of the walking tour and we could not go into the storehouse, which was the main reason we booked this tour. We are going to request that Trip Advisor refund us our money!

Very disappointing
This tour is misrepresented . Its description indicates a tour of the Guinness Storehouse. In fact it is a walking tour of the neighborhood around the Guinness brewery. I requested a refund and was denied. Boarder line fraud.
