    Must-do experience in Adelaide

Fernando was an excellent host; very knowledgeable about both the local and national history of winemaking and able to bring to life the stories of viticulture in Australia through his enthusiasm and attention to detail. The wines he had selected for the tasting were all uniquely palatable and it was great to have it explained to me about what I was tasting and the differences between each of the vineyards that they came from. I did an 11AM tour on a Sunday morning and ended up being the only one on it, so it was essentially a private tour - an added bonus! The shop has a large selection of handpicked wines for purchase as well - the majority at pretty reasonable prices - plus the food I had for lunch there was very appetising. I'd definitely recommend a visit to the National Wine Centre if you're in Adelaide - I'm already thinking about planning a return trip there to sample some more delicious wines!
