Iconic and Informative Adelaide Walking Tour
What a highlight of our visit to Adelaide CBD. We learnt so much about the history as well as contemporary Adelaide from Kat who was so engaging and knowledgeable. We walked around the city at a leisurely pace to see the iconic places as well as going into some buildings, including the Town Hall as well as the Library. Thank you so much Kat, $ well spent
Response from the operator: The Iconic tour definitely allows for the right amount of time to wander the city in detail. Seeing that it was a highlight for you is wonderful, it was an enjoyable afternoon spent all together! Take care, Katina

Great insight into Adelaide both past and present with amazing guide Andrea.
Great insight into Adelaide both past and present. We didn’t just call in to places like the town hall, Rundle Mall and its “balls”, the amazing library, railway station and lots more Andrea told us stories that made every place so much more interesting. Andrea is a fantastic guide who loves Adelaide , who so easily conveyed that love to us, made us feel we were walking with a friend while we shared experiences. What Andrea gave us made us wish we could stay longer to explore more of this interesting city. Thank you Andrea you gave us a really great afternoon.
Response from the operator: Knowing that Andrea made the afternoon feel like you saw the city with a friend is incredible! Thank you so much for sharing this Leslie, Andrea is extremely vibrant and passionate about Adelaide and its history and culture. We're so glad this was a special part to your Adelaide stay. Hope to see you another time, Katina

Guided Walking Tour with Flamboyance!
We had no idea where to find Mall's Balls in Adelaide on Rundell Street but we finally managed to get there and meet the lovely Kat - after a full explanation of the stainless steel balls and the gorgeous old mall we were off on our walking tour of Adelaide - first time visitors! And it was a wonderful 3 hours spent learning all about Adelaide from Kat including going into small little lanes to admire street art! Would highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Once you see the Balls sculpture you realise you can't miss it! It's so great that walking with us provided you with context of the city as first-time visitors, to really make your stay memorable. Safe travels, Katina

Perfect Adelaide tour
This was the perfect way to spend an afternoon wandering around Adelaide. Katina is an excellent guide with an amazing abundance of knowledge about Adelaide's history and the city's highlights that she showed me, many of which I would not have discovered by myself. She has a very easy going, friendly nature and was a delight to spend the afternoon with. I thoroughly recommend taking this tour.
Response from the operator: Thanks so much Doug! The Iconic tour isn't only about showcasing what makes Adelaide iconic, but also sharing some of the city's lesser-explored spots. Hosting you was great fun and I'm glad you enjoyed the afternoon. Hope to see you next time, Katina

Great afternoon!
This was a really great afternoon seeing a wide range of buildings and sights (many of which we’d never have found on our own) and learning a great deal about the history and development of Adelaide. Olly was an informative and entertaining guide - our interest never flagged.
Response from the operator: Thank you Gareth! The Iconic Adelaide tour really does get you past main monuments to see some of the city's hidden gems. Olly's guidance just elevates the experience, he's awesome! Safe travels, Katina

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Iconic Adelaide Walking Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Adelaide.
How much does Iconic Adelaide Walking Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $89 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Adelaide usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Iconic Adelaide Walking Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Adelaide is not rushed.
Is Iconic Adelaide Walking Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 38 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Adelaide, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Iconic Adelaide Walking Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Iconic Adelaide Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Iconic Adelaide Walking Tour?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Adelaide can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Adelaide and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Iconic Adelaide Walking Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Adelaide within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Adelaide?
+
On Outty we rank every Adelaide experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Premium Barossa Small Group Tour: Wine tasting, Lunch & Chocolate, Discover Barossa: 4 Wine Tastings, Gourmet Lunch, and Hidden Gems, Adelaide Highlights, Hahndorf & McLaren Vale Wine Tasting and Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Adelaide?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Adelaide?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
