Michelin experience
We were spoiled as this was our first meal in CDMX, nothing will compare. Flavors we had never experienced before. Each course had a story and you could tell it was as fresh as one could get.

Unparalleled excellence in CDMX
“Omakase” meaning “I trust you” is the only way to go here. Jonas, Oscar, Anita and Irma will not disappoint you. Let everyone run and beg for a table at Quintonil and Pujols. Pipicha Santa, only 10 months old, is the place to be when in CDMX. Farm to table, organic, sustainable and all locally sourced ingredients, you cannot have fresher and more flavorful food. Each and every ingredient will be explained as to its origin and how it is used. The wines are outstanding. Sitting at the counter and watching each dish be prepared is a privilege. In the true spirit of Omakase, please trust me when looking for the best meal available in CDMX!

Best restaurant in Mexico City!
Welcomed by this wonderful and talented husband and wife team! We did the tasting menu and they would have kept feeding us but we were so full! The food was so creative and absolutely delicious. Sitting at the counter and watching them invent all of these dishes was so special! Do not miss out on this place! Trust me!!

An Unforgettable Experience
Pipicha Santa, is the culinary love affair of Jonah and Anita, a married couple living and working their dream. A ten-seat Omakase bar in the Japanese tradition, Pipicha Santa, is where the couple creates and cooks what is market fresh and in their minds that day. Watching them cook behind the bar is akin to observing two artists working in tandem to create a masterpiece. It is a rare chance to peer into a window of creative passion. The intimacy is unparalleled, not even close to sitting at an open kitchen in a slick restaurant. The diner gets to watch and eat food prepared with love. Without enough room for a grill, one is pulled out to the sidewalk, the smoke and smells filling the neighborhood with deliciousness. My wife and I drank unique wine and sipped bespoke Mezcal while dining on the greatest Mexican food. Jonah describes each ingredient with professorial knowledge of its history and use while you await licking your chops. Pipicha Santa is a fantastic dining experience. I have experienced nothing like it in all my years of travel. You must go when you’re in Mexico City.

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Home Style Mexican Food Farm to Table Omakase 7 Courses: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.
How much does Home Style Mexican Food Farm to Table Omakase 7 Courses cost?
+
Prices start at $157 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Home Style Mexican Food Farm to Table Omakase 7 Courses take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.
Is Home Style Mexican Food Farm to Table Omakase 7 Courses worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Home Style Mexican Food Farm to Table Omakase 7 Courses?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Home Style Mexican Food Farm to Table Omakase 7 Courses suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Home Style Mexican Food Farm to Table Omakase 7 Courses?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Home Style Mexican Food Farm to Table Omakase 7 Courses start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mexico City?
+
On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Balloon Flight+Gruta brekfast+Teotihuacan Tour from Mexico City. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mexico City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mexico City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
