My friends and I booked this motorbike excursion, and wow, we were so impressed with all the fun activities and learning experiences! Our motorbike rider and guide, Andy, was fantastic! He was incredibly knowledgeable about every activity we participated in and even treated us to lunch and drinks! I’d definitely book it again just to hang out with Andy! We explored five activities throughout our journey, and the motorbike ride was even more enjoyable as we drove through charming small towns and villages, interacting with the locals and witnessing their crafts firsthand. It was definitely a memorable experience!

I’m honestly finding it difficult to put into words just how deeply moving this experience was. Meeting Andy and learning about the work he and his team are doing for the people of Vietnam was something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. This isn’t just a tour—it’s an experience that gives you a perspective and connection to Vietnam that you simply cannot recreate on your own. I came expecting to learn something new, but I left genuinely changed. It was one of the most meaningful experiences of my entire trip, and I know I’ll be thinking about it for years to come. If you’re considering booking this, please do it. I mean that sincerely and from the bottom of my heart. This is the kind of experience you travel halfway around the world for. You absolutely must experience it for yourself. Andy, you are an incredible person. Thank you for sharing this part of Vietnam with us. ❤️

Best bike tour in Vietnam hoi an

It was great experience, honestly one of the best tours here in Vietnam. Full of new experiences and awaome memories. We went on the motorbike tour, the whole tour was amazing and every stop was magnificent. We went on the coconut boats and got to do karaoke and try net fishing. We got to ride water buffalos and they were absolutely adorable. And the last stop was farming with the locals, definitely gives you an appreciation on how hard farmers here work. After the tour we went for some delicious local food definitely a great ending to an awesome tour. The guide was nothing shot of amazing and thoughtful, he even took pictures for us of the experience that I am so glad to have as I didn't have nearly as many of as good. there's definitely a variety of guides but this is one I fully recommend, and am coming back to on my next trip back.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your incredible review! We are delighted to hear that this was one of the best tours of your time in Vietnam. It means a lot to know that you enjoyed the variety of experiences, from the coconut boat ride and net fishing to meeting the water buffaloes and spending time with local farmers. One of the things we love most is helping our guests connect with local people and gain a deeper understanding of life in the Vietnamese countryside. We're especially happy that the farming experience gave you a new appreciation for the hard work that goes into daily life here. Thank you as well for your kind words about your guide. Taking photos and creating memorable moments for our guests is something we truly enjoy, so we're glad you now have those special memories to look back on. It was a pleasure having you join us, and we're honored by your recommendation. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit to Hoi An for even more adventures!

The Best Motorbike Tour In Hoi An

Such a special experience and a rare privilege to see the craft and livelihood’s behind the traditions of these Hoi An, Vietnamese families. These farming and fishing trades are still upheld by only a few remaining families who have the skills. This tour is championed by Harry who is passionate about the survival of these Hoi A trades and regional traditions. He clearly knows the story behind the families who dedicate their lives to their craft despite the risk that the next generation may not carry it on. Hopefully these small tours and conscious efforts to highlight these trades can support the survival of the skills for future generations. A special mention to Hu and her husband who rode the bikes we pillioned, with care and attention. Harry shared her knowledge of the farming practices throughout the tour and her enthusiasm, warmth and knowledge of the Hoi An people and their traditions is heartfelt and valued.

Response from the operator: Thank you sincerely for such a thoughtful and heartfelt review. Your words truly mean a great deal to all of us. We are deeply grateful that you understood the deeper purpose behind this experience — not only visiting local villages, but also helping share and preserve the traditional crafts, farming lifestyles, and fishing culture that have been part of Hoi An for generations. As you beautifully mentioned, many of these family traditions are now carried on by only a small number of artisans and families, making these experiences increasingly rare and meaningful. Harry will be incredibly touched by your kind words and recognition of his passion for supporting these local communities and preserving their stories. Sharing the history, struggles, and dedication behind each family’s craft is something he truly cares about. We also greatly appreciate your special mention of Hu and her husband. They will be very happy to know that you felt safe, welcomed, and cared for throughout the journey. The warmth and connection between guests and local families are what make these small-group experiences so special. Thank you again for choosing to explore the authentic countryside life of Hoi An with us and for supporting these local traditions. We hope the memories stay with you for many years to come.

How far in advance should I book Hoi An: Sunrise vs SunSet Motorbike Tour in Hidden Villages?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hoi An can sell out a month out. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hoi An?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hoi An?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
