    Chris was exceptional at...

Chris was exceptional at capturing every moment. He made it fun and interesting. His tips made our photos come out naturally and exactly what we were looking for.

Response from the operator: Dear Luz, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It was such a pleasure photographing you both at Crissy Field, one of my favorite locations in San Francisco for capturing those classic Golden Gate Bridge views. The light that afternoon, combined with your energy and connection, made for such a fun and effortless Bay Area photography session. You two brought such natural chemistry to the shoot — laughing, exploring, and embracing every moment — which made it easy to capture authentic, candid images that reflect your personalities. I also appreciate how open you were to my tips and creative direction; that collaboration is what truly brings the photos to life. Crissy Field offers such a perfect mix of scenic backdrops — the bridge, Alcatraz, and the city skyline — and you both made the most of every spot. I’m thrilled to hear that your photos turned out exactly as you hoped. It means so much that you chose me as your San Francisco photographer during your Bay Area vacation. Sessions like this remind me why I love what I do — helping couples capture moments that feel real, relaxed, and timeless against such an iconic San Francisco backdrop. Thank you again for your kind words and trust. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together and hope to see you again on your next visit — there are so many more beautiful corners of San Francisco we could explore for your next couples photoshoot! Awesome photos!

We hired Chris to some take family photos while we were visiting San Francisco this summer. He was amazing at helping us figure out the best places to take the photos with the kids, figuring out the fog, and capturing each individual's personality and some great group photos as well (for kids privacy, I am not posting it here - but they were amazing!). All while also finding ways to make it fun for the teenage kids! We ended up with so many amazing pictures, we don't know which ones we will be printing to display in our home! I would highly recommend Chris!

Response from the operator: Dear Cris, Thank you so much for your thoughtful and generous review! It was such a pleasure photographing your family at Crissy Field — one of my favorite spots in San Francisco for family portraits with its perfect views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the soft coastal light, and that classic Bay Area atmosphere. You all brought such great energy to the session, and I loved seeing each person’s personality come through in the photos. Working with your kids was especially fun — they made it easy to capture both those genuine family moments and the playful, candid shots that make sessions at Crissy Field so memorable. The mix of laughter, connection, and the beach setting gave your gallery such a relaxed and timeless feel. I’m thrilled to hear how much you love your photos (and that choosing which ones to print has become the hardest part!). Thank you again for trusting me to capture your Bay Area vacation photos — it means so much. I hope these images bring back the spirit of that beautiful day every time you see them, and I’d love to work with your family again the next time you visit San Francisco. Warm regards, Chris Chris Conner Photography – San Francisco Family & Vacation Photographer

    Chris is amazing!

Chris captured the most beautiful pictures. He knew the exact spot which was away from rush area and had the best view. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable while taking pictures. Highly recommend booking with Chris!!

Response from the operator: Dear Nadia, Thank you so much for the wonderful review! It was such a joy photographing the three of you during your Baker Beach photoshoot here in San Francisco. The weather and lighting that day were absolutely perfect, and the view of the Golden Gate Bridge made for such a beautiful backdrop. Your mother was incredible to work with — even with the language differences, her warmth and personality shone through in every photo. I truly enjoyed capturing the connection between you all, and I’m so glad you loved the experience and the images. Thank you again for choosing me as your San Francisco photographer during your Bay Area vacation. I hope we’ll have the chance to take more photos together on your mother’s next visit — Baker Beach and the city have so many more stunning spots to explore! Hire a San Francisco Photographer for your Bay Area vacation: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for San Francisco.

How much does Hire a San Francisco Photographer for your Bay Area vacation cost?

    +

Prices start at $345 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in San Francisco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Hire a San Francisco Photographer for your Bay Area vacation take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in San Francisco is not rushed.

Is Hire a San Francisco Photographer for your Bay Area vacation worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in San Francisco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Hire a San Francisco Photographer for your Bay Area vacation?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Hire a San Francisco Photographer for your Bay Area vacation suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Hire a San Francisco Photographer for your Bay Area vacation?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in San Francisco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in San Francisco and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Hire a San Francisco Photographer for your Bay Area vacation start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central San Francisco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in San Francisco?

    +

San Francisco packs Alcatraz, Muir Woods, Napa and the bay into day-trip range, which makes booking order matter more than anywhere else in the US. Alcatraz sells out weeks ahead, wine-country vans fill on weekends, and the best food walks in the Mission and Chinatown cap at a dozen people. Our ranking favours small groups and guides who live in the neighbourhood they walk. On Outty we rank every San Francisco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group Yosemite and Giant Sequoias Day Trip from San Francisco, Golden Gate Bridge Muir Woods Sausalito with Optional Alcatraz, Chinatown, North Beach, Little Italy: 7 Tastings & History. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit San Francisco?

    +

September and October, the city's real summer, once the fog season breaks. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in San Francisco?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
