Music was to loud we came...
Music was to loud we came 20 minutes errands like they told and we left a half hour late or so we could not hear someone else talk because the music was to loud

Not Nice
Yes we got there last min. Boat was still docked we ran to the boat. The boat workers where starting to remove the ramp. They saw us running and one of the workers stated the owner was making sure they did not wait. 2 more min would not have hurt at all. But again yes we were late but darn is there any compassion or courtesy at all.

Stopped on the goal line
I booked the cruise with my two young sons as this was their first time in the city. Not long after our Lyft dropped us off at the pier and we were sitting down eating on a bench twelve minutes before the cruise started I received a call it was canceled. It was super inconvenient, especially after I got the boys (7 & 9) excited about the experience.

Waste of time for my wife and i coming from Connecticut
There’s no coverage in case it start to rain. My wife and I got there early there’s no parking. We wait an hour and a half just to have the tour canceled because they over booked. We were on time, but the boat wasn’t so we waited an extra half an hour before finding out that we were going on the boat. And we came all the way from Connecticut. Lady on the boat told us we come back tomorrow or get a refund. It was a big waste of time. I felt like I was scammed. now I’m just waiting on my refund.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry to hear about your experience. We understand how disappointing and frustrating it must have been to arrive early, deal with parking challenges, wait for an extended period, and ultimately be unable to enjoy the cruise as planned—especially after traveling all the way from Connecticut. We also apologize for the lack of timely communication regarding the delay and capacity issues. We recognize that your time is valuable, and the experience you described is not the level of service we strive to provide. Your comments regarding the boarding process, wait times, and overall organization are important and will be shared with our operations team for review. We appreciate your patience throughout the situation and thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention. Guest feedback helps us identify opportunities for improvement, and we hope to provide a much better experience in the future.

Old and dingy
The boat is old and dingy. There are no signs what so ever for this compony when you arrive by taxi. It says be 20 Mins early but the boat did not even pull up until our departure time and then we left 20 mins late, returning 20 mins late. There was a recording playing over the loud speaker with information but it did not coincide with what we were currently passing so it didn’t make much sense. Def do not recommend, I’d spend some more money and do a nicer tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to note that our cruises feature a live guide rather than a recorded narration, so it's possible there may have been some confusion regarding the vessel or operator. We also strive to provide clear boarding instructions in our confirmation emails and pre-departure communications. As for departure times, vessel arrivals and departures can occasionally be affected by factors such as docking operations, weather, harbor traffic, and Coast Guard restrictions. We apologize if this caused any inconvenience during your visit. We appreciate all guest feedback, as it helps us continue improving the experience we provide. Thank you for taking the time to share your comments.

Why this scores 44
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Happy Hour Statue of Liberty Express Sunset Sightseeing Cruise: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New York.
How much does Happy Hour Statue of Liberty Express Sunset Sightseeing Cruise cost?
+
Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New York usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Happy Hour Statue of Liberty Express Sunset Sightseeing Cruise take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New York is not rushed.
Is Happy Hour Statue of Liberty Express Sunset Sightseeing Cruise worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 44 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.1/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New York, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Happy Hour Statue of Liberty Express Sunset Sightseeing Cruise?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Happy Hour Statue of Liberty Express Sunset Sightseeing Cruise suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Happy Hour Statue of Liberty Express Sunset Sightseeing Cruise?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New York can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New York and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Happy Hour Statue of Liberty Express Sunset Sightseeing Cruise start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New York within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in New York?
+
New York has more bookable experiences than any other city on Outty, and the quality spread is brutal. Observation decks are commoditised, so we score them on timed-entry reliability and sunset slots. Food tours and borough walks are where the ranking really separates operators, and the top scores in the city all come from small-group guides. On Outty we rank every New York experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Grand Canyon VIP Helicopter Tour, Half-Day Bus Tour of NYC Top Highlights, NYC Bus Tour of Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens: Art, Food & Sports. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit New York?
+
September to early November, and late April through June. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in New York?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
