What a great Tour!

Many thanks to Bruno! We had a great day. Great view points and interesting information about the island. We enjoyed the wine stop as well - lovely wine estate and family with a lot of interesting history facts about wine production ago and today.

Response from the operator: Hi, Thanks a lot for your kind review...Glad to hear you enjoyed with us with proposal wine tour + scenery. Regards Bruno

Las Palmas Tour Guide Bruno

A truly excellent tour conducted by an excellent guide, Bruno. He is both knowledgable and keenly aware of his client's desires and limitations. He uses the allotted time wisely, giving each attraction enough time and attention that they require. I would love to be able to go back to Bruno for a second tour of the island.

Response from the operator: Thanks for your time and review. Hope good flight back home for Christmas Regards Bruno

Brilliant Bruno! Magical tour!

Bruno was super knowledgeable, personable and a great host for the say with a passion for his country! We saw and heard so much that we would have missed. We loved his knowledge of plants and the land. The winery was extraordinary with all the different fruit plants and vines. Even showed us a beautiful spot for lunch at the dragons tail. Couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks Bruno!!!

Response from the operator: Thanks a lot, we really had fun and good time... Hope to see you next time on board again !!!

Great tours with small groups. Highly recommended!

We took two all-day tours - one to the volcani sights and highest mountains plus the city of Teror and the next day to the south of Gran Canaria island with Trip Canaria and both were excellent. Small groups +/- 20 pax in a minibus with a bilingual guide (Fran both days). Lots of information, free time at each stop to explore on one’s own and no pressure to visit a certain restaurant or shop.

Response from the operator: Muchas gracias, thanks a lot for you commentary. Indeed was great opportunity to offer you the best of Gran Canaria, our scents, villages, views, history. Again thanks and hope to see you soon. Regards Bruno Knudsen Vizcaino

The real Gran Canaria

During our Canarian cruise, four of us took a private tour with Bruno in Gran Canaria to explore some of the "real" Gran Canaria. Although my husband and I had previously visited the tourist areas including hiring a car to explore by ourselves, being with Bruno opened our eyes to some of the best kept secrets of this lovely island. Tasting the delicious local produce (which unfortunately is not exported!), visiting the village of Teror where we saw the most beautiful church alter I have ever seen anywhere in the world and learning about the history of the island in an interesting way really made for a wonderful day's experience.

Half day to Bandama Caldera, Botanical experience & Wine-Tasting: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Gran Canaria.

How much does Half day to Bandama Caldera, Botanical experience & Wine-Tasting cost?

+

Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Gran Canaria usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Half day to Bandama Caldera, Botanical experience & Wine-Tasting take?

+

Plan for about 4.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Gran Canaria is not rushed.

Is Half day to Bandama Caldera, Botanical experience & Wine-Tasting worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Gran Canaria, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Half day to Bandama Caldera, Botanical experience & Wine-Tasting?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Half day to Bandama Caldera, Botanical experience & Wine-Tasting suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Half day to Bandama Caldera, Botanical experience & Wine-Tasting?

+

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Gran Canaria can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Gran Canaria and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Half day to Bandama Caldera, Botanical experience & Wine-Tasting start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Gran Canaria within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Gran Canaria?

+

On Outty we rank every Gran Canaria experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Puerto de Mogán: Coastal Cruise with Optional Snorkeling & Lunch, Guided tour of the Banana World, The Volcano Heart Tour: Hiking, Tasting and Sunset Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Gran Canaria?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Gran Canaria?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
