An amazing experience and a fantastic way to see the centre of the island and some of Gran Canaria’s highest peaks up close, without too much effort! Our guide, David, was incredibly knowledgeable and an excellent driver. The tour is split into four main parts, centred around the formation of Gran Canaria during its different volcanic and geological periods. We learnt a lot about the history of the island, as well as how the different volcanic landscapes were created, which was really interesting. The hiking section was a great opportunity to walk through some of the highest parts of Gran Canaria and was just the right level of challenge. It took around 40 minutes each way, up and back, and the views made it well worth it. The meal was light, homemade and delicious. The standout for me was the banana quiche-style dish — slightly unusual, but absolutely lovely! The final stop was for sunset, which was quite simply magical and the perfect way to end the day Loved it!

Great experience
Very nice trip! The guide explained everything and answered to all the questions regarding the Island, also about water supply, plants and trees! The lunch at a local restaurant was delicious, especially the banana quiche 😁.
