Fantastic experience in the Bay of Kotor!
We had a fantastic time on this boat tour. Everything was well organized, the crew was friendly, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. It was a great way to explore the Bay of Kotor. Swimming in the Blue Cave was definitely a highlight. We also visited the fascinating former submarine tunnel, cruised around Our Lady of the Rocks, and stopped in the beautiful town of Perast, where we ended our trip. The tour offered great value for money, and we would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Montenegro!

Kotor Montenegro Private Tour
Advertised as boat tour - did not specify speed boat tour. Traveled with ten friends and four of us got soaked. Guide then asked us if we wanted rain coats. Well it would have been nice to ask us that or let us know that we could get wet before the trip. Description indicated fee for Our Lady of the Rocks was included but we couldn’t get in as they were charging three euro. When I asked the guide he said it was not included although the description clearly said that it was. He said that was a Viator mistake. Description said we would stop at a beach for 45 minutes which we did not do. Guide did not give us information s out where we would be going next or how long it would take. Description said soda water and wifi included. Not so much….Montenegro is beautiful and the blue cave was beautiful but overall this was an extremely disappointing tour.
Response from the operator: Very sorry to hear that. We can not control the weather conditions. We waited for You kore than an hour ( that You were late ) and still provided full 4 hours Tour. We should instead declate non show and end the Tour however we were fully cooperative and willing to provide Tour as paid. It is clearly stated that this is Speed Boat Tour in description. Swimming break was provided at Blue Cabe and due to weather Tour was adjusted to maximise your time. On the site all stops and durations are clearly stated and all info wad provided in advance. Still we appologise if our Tour did not make your expectations. Until now it was obe of our most popular Tours and our guest loved it.

Top nice boat tour!
An absolute must do when in the Kotor Bay for the stunning views. Our Captain connected well with our mixed group and made it a really nice and fun experience.

A Magical Escape into Montenegro’s Coastal Wonders
From beginning to end, this private tour was simply outstanding. Communication was smooth and professional, and having a reserved parking spot at the harbor made everything easy from the start. The scenery was nothing short of breathtaking—crystal-clear waters, towering mountains, and postcard-perfect coastal villages. The boat ride was both relaxing and exhilarating, with high-speed stretches adding a fun twist. We had plenty of chances to soak in the views and capture stunning photos. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, with stops at hidden gems that aren’t easily accessible otherwise. Exploring a submarine cave, visiting the island with the iconic church, and taking in views of the Montenegrin mountains and even Croatia were all unforgettable highlights. And then—the Blue Cave. Swimming in its glowing, electric-blue water felt like stepping into a dream. Our guide was fantastic: knowledgeable, warm, and made the whole experience feel truly personal.

Good tour, a few things to know
Great tour! Just a few things to know...there was no water or sodas on the boat as advertised and we had to pay for entrance to the church. It wasn't enough of a big deal to make me not recommend. Our guide was professional, safe, and enjoyable. Very good communication from the tour operator.
Response from the operator: Thank You for your comment and appreciation of our staff. Please accept our apology for this miss. Water and drinks are usually available on the boat as advertised but due to extreme traffic our supply was late.

Half-Day Private Tour of Boka Bay and Blue Cave from Kotor: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kotor.
How much does Half-Day Private Tour of Boka Bay and Blue Cave from Kotor cost?
+
Prices start at $400 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kotor usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Half-Day Private Tour of Boka Bay and Blue Cave from Kotor take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kotor is not rushed.
Is Half-Day Private Tour of Boka Bay and Blue Cave from Kotor worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 35 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kotor, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Half-Day Private Tour of Boka Bay and Blue Cave from Kotor?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Half-Day Private Tour of Boka Bay and Blue Cave from Kotor suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Half-Day Private Tour of Boka Bay and Blue Cave from Kotor?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kotor can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kotor and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Half-Day Private Tour of Boka Bay and Blue Cave from Kotor start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kotor within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kotor?
+
On Outty we rank every Kotor experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Great Montenegro Tour-Lovcen NP,Mausoleum Lovcen,River of Crnojevic,Sveti Stefan, Kotor Bay Escape: Blue Cave, Beach & Swimming Time, Exclusive Blue Cave Kotor Swim, Mamula&Lady of the Rock 3 Hour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kotor?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kotor?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
