Amazing Private Boat Tour in Kotor!

Amazing Private Boat Tour in Kotor! We booked this tour through Viator as a shore excursion during our cruise stop in Kotor. It was a private three-hour boat tour for two, and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The directions from the ship to the pickup location were perfect—it took us less than a couple of minutes to get there. When we arrived, we were greeted by a young lady named Synia (I hope I spelled that correctly!). She was incredibly sweet and welcoming. She explained the process and the different options for our day and even shared some recommendations for her favorite restaurants for dinner, which we really appreciated. Shortly afterward, our private boat arrived, and we met Chris and Stephan. Both were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the entire trip. Chris shared his knowledge of the area and made the experience even more interesting with the stories and information about Kotor and the surrounding area. This was our first time visiting Kotor, and the boat tour was an amazing way to experience this beautiful part of Montenegro. The scenery was incredible, and having a private tour made the experience feel very personal and relaxed. A huge thank-you to Synia, Chris, and Stephan for making our visit so memorable. Because of the wonderful experience we had, we definitely hope to come back to Kotor someday! Highly recommended!

Enjoyable boat trip around the bay

Most of the tour boats follow a similar itinerary, at the same time of day, and it’s hard to choose between them. This tour doesn’t stop at Perast but you get to see it fairly close. The tour was good, though due to boat traffic around the blue caves we didn’t stop that close which meant only the strong swimmers were able to swim in and back in the time allocated. I enjoyed this though, and the crew were happy to lend masks (not much to see, just a few small fish). The boat was comfy with padded seats, it’s a little bigger than some we saw so didn’t get too choppy, and has a sun canopy. They handed out bottles of water on the way back which was much appreciated.

    The captain didn't...

There were no life jackets provide li during the boat ride and no snorkel equipment as state in the tour described.

Response from the operator: Dear Jason, All our boats are fully equipped with snorkeling masks and of course life jackets, AT ALL TIMES. All you had to do is ask the Captain for one! Best regards, IGor

    Fantastic

Kotor is beautiful and this tour highlighted its beauty. My wife, 2 adult sons, and I had the best time enjoying the breathtaking blue waters of Kotor and the stories told by our guide. The swimming was so much fun. We were in Europe for 2 weeks and did 10 tours. This was in our top 2. Great tour, would do again!
