A nice building, but a disappointing attitude .

It is an impressive building. One disappointment was that use of the WC was limited to ticket holders. This miserable policy contrasts the policy in other locations in this country.

Response from the operator: Hello Amir, Thank you for your review. Nonetheless i believe you may have made a mistake since this fact that you mention about a building and WC policy and all has nothing to do with us, the tour provider. We are not responsible for the policies of the attractions and honestly issuing a low review for something that we don't own, provide or have control over seems totally out of purpose. Nevertheless, as we always aim for excellence in our services, we are totally open to reading your words regarding the tour. Best Regards

Excellent is an understatement!

Francisco was one of the better guides we have had ever. His knowledge and expertise made this tour a very interesting way to get acquainted with this beautiful city and its history. He was also so kind to us as I have a knee problem, and he paced the walking parts accordingly. I would highly recommend him and this tour.

Superb Tour of Lisbon

Francisco is the best tour guide we have ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable about the city in terms of location and history, and is also fun to be with. He will literally go the extra mile to accommodate special requests. E.g., he took us downhill on foot through the historic Jewish Quarter, walked all the way up to get the car and then drove down to meet us at the bottom of the hill. He spent just the right amount of time in each location and provided very interesting details. It was an excellent and very enjoyable tour.

Response from the operator: Thank you very mucjh Sharyn. It was indeed a pleasure guiding you around Lisbon. Look forward for your return. (Sorry for the late reply but somehow i missed it).

If you are going to take this...

If you are going to take this private tour, ensure that you don't do it by yourself. The tour guide didn't take me to every site I was meant to visit. The places I did go to were okay, but there was so much more to be seen that didn't happen. There was not much commentary about the sites either. He basically took me to a few of the places on the list of sites I was told I would visit, but received almost no commentary about what I was looking at.

Half Day Private Tour - Lisbon's Heritage and Modernity: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.

How much does Half Day Private Tour - Lisbon's Heritage and Modernity cost?

+

Prices start at $280 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Half Day Private Tour - Lisbon's Heritage and Modernity take?

+

Plan for about 4.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.

Is Half Day Private Tour - Lisbon's Heritage and Modernity worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Half Day Private Tour - Lisbon's Heritage and Modernity?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Half Day Private Tour - Lisbon's Heritage and Modernity suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Half Day Private Tour - Lisbon's Heritage and Modernity?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Half Day Private Tour - Lisbon's Heritage and Modernity start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lisbon?

+

On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lisbon?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lisbon?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
