With scheduled departure at 9:00 am or 2:00 pm, from your Hotel, the driver and guide will begin the route heading south, to this coastal city, founded on salt production and maritime trade. Aveiro is surrounded by salt flats, incredible beaches and small lagoons that still preserve the city's fauna, flora and traditions. On the other hand, in the oldest part, it is still possible to see the original facades of the picturesque colorful houses of the old fishermen, as well as a set of Art Nouveau style pieces that are worth appreciating. Great half day excursion
Paulo was the very best guide. He was friendly and answered lots of questions we had about the Portuguese culture. It was easy to meet up with him from the gate outside the port. Everyone in our group loved him. He dropped some of our group off in historic Porto and others back at the port.

Highlight of our Porto visit
Paulo picked us up at our lodging location in Porto at 9 am. Trip to Aveiro took about 55 minutes. The city is beautiful and clean. The canal tour was informative and the additional trip to Costa Nova and its beautiful beach was interesting. Paulo was a wealth of knowledge about these small cities and was an enjoyable guide. Was one of our highlights during our visit to Porto.
