Great Captain, horrible Owner, unreliable boats

All in all we had a great day because of Captain Zack. So why only give it 3 stars? Well the first boat broke down so we sat in a park in the rain with all of our belongings for an extra hour. Now I would have still given it 5 stars, but I called the owner John and he was snappy and had a horrible attitude. While Captain Zack made up for it and gave us a great tour, I would not book with them again.

Dont' Waste You Time - They Didn't Show Up!

I booked the cruise for Saturday from 1-5. On Friday they text me twice saying they had me scheduled for 11-3 on Saturday. I told them it was 1-5 as we had friends flying in that morning at 11am and definitely could not make 11-3( my booking said 1-5). On Saturday as our Uber was arriving at the pick up spot I got a text saying that they couldn't get the engine started. I asked if they had another boat they did but it wouldn't be in until 3 then they have to get a truck to trailer it to our pick up spot which would take them another 1 1/2 hours. So it was cancelled. I did get my money refunded but I'm out about $70 for my Uber there and back. I would book with someone else.!! Really ruined our Day:(

Response from the operator: Hello we tried are best to get you another boat for you guys you said no. We’re sorry our boat broke last minute as we never plan to have broke boat for the day. For the scenario of rescheduling or texting you for a different time we had you confuse as we have three other boats and we had you confused with another Charter we never switched your time. Also never said anything about the time you booked. So for you to write a nasty review it’s not nice as we tried to make everything work with another boat and give you a full refund. You have a good day thank you for booking with us again. I’m sorry about ruining your day.

    Disappointed

We had a hard time finding our departing location. It's at the back of a public park, not the easiest when carrying coolers and bags. Our captain offered no help with any bag or cooler transfers, not even a hand to those on boarding. Trip started with a speech on what to say to coast guard and how much to tip! Captain didn't say much or interact after that. He periodically puffed on his vape pen and spent most time on his phone. The second deck had no cushions to sit on, and the pump to the slide was broken. So the upper deck was useless. No working slide, no upper deck, we could have had the same experience for much cheaper.

Fun day out on the water

Great day out on the boat. Jason was the best captain. Very friendly and accommodating. Boat was clean and exactly what we expected.

    SO MUCH FUN!!!!

We went on the 4hour cruise for my friend’s bachelorette party and we had a blast!!! Highly recommend. Our captain Juan was so accommodating and friendly! The slide was a hit and the lily pad was so perfect. And the views of the houses were incredible. Best bachelorette I’ve ever been to. Def want to do it again!

Response from the operator: thank you so much for review hope to haver you guys again

Half-Day Private Cruise in Fort Lauderdale: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fort Lauderdale.

How much does Half-Day Private Cruise in Fort Lauderdale cost?

    +

Prices start at $680 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fort Lauderdale usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Half-Day Private Cruise in Fort Lauderdale take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fort Lauderdale is not rushed.

Is Half-Day Private Cruise in Fort Lauderdale worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fort Lauderdale, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Half-Day Private Cruise in Fort Lauderdale?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Half-Day Private Cruise in Fort Lauderdale suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Half-Day Private Cruise in Fort Lauderdale?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fort Lauderdale can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fort Lauderdale and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Half-Day Private Cruise in Fort Lauderdale start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fort Lauderdale within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Fort Lauderdale?

    +

Fort Lauderdale sells canal and Millionaire's Row boat cruises, Everglades airboat trips, snorkel and dive charters on the reef, and Miami and Key West day trips. Boat size and reef conditions drive the quality of the water tours. On Outty we rank every Fort Lauderdale experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 1-Hour Interactive Pirate Cruise (arrive 30 minutes early), Fort Lauderdale Segway Tour, Half-day Everglades National Park Tour and 1-Hour Air Boat Ride. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Fort Lauderdale?

    +

November to April, with warm water year round. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Fort Lauderdale?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
