Great Experience - Staff & Crew Are Awesome

The experience was awesome. The staff and crew went out of their way to make sure everyone was having a great time, so much so that the guy in charge was literally swimming drinks out to people when we arrived at the inlet. Still 5 stars, the only thing I would suggest is a change of music to something more suitable for an afternoon on a boat.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We’re thrilled to hear you had such an awesome experience and that our staff and crew went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. We love that you noticed the extra effort—even swimming drinks out to our guests! We also appreciate your suggestion about the music. Guest feedback is incredibly valuable, and we’ll certainly take it into consideration as we continue to improve the onboard experience. Thank you again for the 5-star rating! We hope to welcome you back on board for another unforgettable day on the water.

    Our experience was...

Our experience was amazing! It was a beautiful day and the crew made it a ton of fun! We don’t remember everyone’s names but Lucy had the sweetest smile and was so helpful, Carlos took some incredible photos and Celine kept everything moving and told fun jokes along the way. We know it can’t be easy to show up with that energy and level of excitement every day, but we are so grateful because it made the day so fun. Thank you crew!!

It was good, but I left...

It was good, but I left my phone on transportation and wasn't able to get it back. I tried calling to talk to them and they only would WhatsApp me.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’d like to clarify that your phone was recovered and returned to you. We understand how stressful it is to think a personal item has been lost, and we did our best to stay in contact and coordinate its return as quickly as possible. WhatsApp is our main and fastest communication channel for logistics during tours, which allowed us to follow up efficiently. We’re glad everything was resolved in the end and appreciate your understanding. Your feedback helps us continue improving our service.

Half-Day Luxury Sailing in Puerto Morelos with Open Bar: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tulum.

How much does Half-Day Luxury Sailing in Puerto Morelos with Open Bar cost?

    +

Prices start at $149 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tulum usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Half-Day Luxury Sailing in Puerto Morelos with Open Bar take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tulum is not rushed.

Is Half-Day Luxury Sailing in Puerto Morelos with Open Bar worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tulum, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Half-Day Luxury Sailing in Puerto Morelos with Open Bar?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Half-Day Luxury Sailing in Puerto Morelos with Open Bar suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Half-Day Luxury Sailing in Puerto Morelos with Open Bar?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tulum can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tulum and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Half-Day Luxury Sailing in Puerto Morelos with Open Bar start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tulum within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tulum?

    +

On Outty we rank every Tulum experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tulum Ruins, Turtles in Akumal and Cenote tour, Tulum Guided Tour, Magical Cenote, Lagoon Snorkeling and Beachside Lunch, Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid with Lunch and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tulum?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tulum?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
