What you'll see and do
Emerald Pool (Sa Morakot)
On this half-day tour you will see the 2 main attractions of the Krabi jungle: The natural hot spring in Khlong Thom (Krabi Hot Spring) and Sra Morakot (the Emerald Pool). Get a convenient hotel pickup service in Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Ao Nam Mao, Klong Muang and Tubkaek Beach by shared minivan in air-conditioned comfort. Sit back, and relax as you journey to Khlong Thom National Park. Pass by scenic views of the lush greenery and natural landscapes of the tropical rainforest as you travel south to the heart of Krabi. Upon arrival, enjoy a soothing bath in the natural wonder of Krabi Hot Spring, which provides a serene setting for both relaxation and rejuvenation. Though the falls itself is just a cascade tumbling gently but a few meters, it is unique in that the spring water that feeds it bubbles up from the earth at temperature of more than 50 degrees Celsius. It cools a bit as it flows to the cascade and you can swim in the calm stream below for a much cooler bath. Then take a walk to Emerald Pool and see the exotic flora and distinctive fauna indigenous to Thailand. Sra Morokot is a fresh water pool inside the Khao Phra Bang Khram Nature Reserve. The waters of this 120-square-meter pond take on a green hue thanks to an abundance of minerals from the surroundings limestone hills. The crystal clear water is unsuitable for drinking and feels thick due to its high calcium carbonate content which can cause gallstone. Here you can go for a swim to escape the heat of the day and admire the stream, one of the sources of the pool, which tumbles in at one end over rock made smooth by mineral deposits — a relaxing end to your tour. Incorrect tour timing description
We paid for the trip but actually did not go. I signed up because the website said at 1 - 2 pm we will be back to the hotel. So I thought I will be fine leaving for the soccer tournament I came for at 2:30 pm. When the operator came to pick us up, she said it would be unlikely we are back before 3 pm (!). She was nice and friendly (this is why I gave 2 stars) but the tour description is very misleading.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear about the timing confusion during your tour. We understand how important it is to have accurate information, especially when you have other plans. We will look into this and make sure the timing details are clarified to avoid similar issues for future guests. We're glad to hear that the operator was friendly, and we appreciate your understanding. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back on a future trip!

Family Friendly
Great half day trip. We had a great jungle walk to the three pools on the second half of the trip. We saw lizards, A snake, giant spiders, and beautiful jungle flora. However, the hot springs stop is NOT at the National park. The hot springs stop is at a resort. The Crystal pool, Emerald pool, and blue pool were part of the National park. The park fee paid in cash to your operator. BRING EXACT CHANGE! We were promised our change but it was not given to us!
Response from the operator: Dear Jen_P Thanks for choosing our jungle tour, which gives you a good overview of Krabi mainland attractions in one day.

Decent
The hot springs and emerald pool is pretty mediocre and extremely crowded. Compared to the views you get atop Tiger Cave Temple and Dragon Crest Mountain, it's not worth the time but if you have time to kill, check it out. I liked the feeling of being in the jungle while walking out to the blue pool which is a few meters further up passed emerald pool. You can't swim inside the blue pool but the color of the water is pretty miraculous. Swam inside emerald pool for a bit which was lovely. At this point it's such a tourist destination that you may just want to go to say you've been there and take pics. The hot springs was lackluster but I went and explored away from the crowds which was nice. There's a hidden creek and trail just behind all the madness.

Hot spring n Emerald pool
This time trip went to hot spring not really fun. Blue pool was close and only 2 places visit. Not fun at all.
Response from the operator: Dear Sylvia, We offer to visit the Krabi Hot Spring and Crystal Pool for this tour as described. It is worth for those who love to visit a jungle than beaches which you enjoy a half-day checking out the natural hot springs of Krabi and take a swim in the natural bath of the Emerald Pool, also called Crystal Pool. Best regards, Rinda

Too crowded
The hotspring waterfall is way too crowded, we didn't even try to get in the water. Emerald pool is also way too crowded, but you can swim. You are longer in the car then you can enjoy the waterfall or emerald pool.
Response from the operator: Dear Nico, Thank you for reviewing. Krabi Hot Spring and Crystal Pool is located quite far from Krabi Town and Ao Nang. It is the most popular tourist attractions for everybody who visit Krabi, so it is crowded all year long. Sorry for the inconvenience. Warm regards, Rinda

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Half-Day Jungle Tour Including Crystal Pool and Krabi Hot Springs: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krabi.
How much does Half-Day Jungle Tour Including Crystal Pool and Krabi Hot Springs cost?
+
Prices start at $39 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krabi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Half-Day Jungle Tour Including Crystal Pool and Krabi Hot Springs take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krabi is not rushed.
Is Half-Day Jungle Tour Including Crystal Pool and Krabi Hot Springs worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krabi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Half-Day Jungle Tour Including Crystal Pool and Krabi Hot Springs?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Half-Day Jungle Tour Including Crystal Pool and Krabi Hot Springs suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Half-Day Jungle Tour Including Crystal Pool and Krabi Hot Springs?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krabi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krabi and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Half-Day Jungle Tour Including Crystal Pool and Krabi Hot Springs start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krabi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Krabi?
+
On Outty we rank every Krabi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Phi Phi Islands Tour with Lunch from Krabi, Phi Phi Early Bird & 4 Islands - Day Tour by Speedboat From Krabi, Railay and 4-Island Sunset Speedboat Cruise with Night Snorkel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Krabi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Krabi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
