Awesome Swimming Opportunities In The Jungle!
This half-day trip is fabulous! You get to swim in the huge Emerald Pool and view the Blue Pool and Crystal Pool. Then it's off to these awesome outdoor hot mineral springs, right in the middle of the jungle! The tour guide is super helpful and has good English. Lunch was in a restaurant and is provided as part of the tour. The food was delicious! Five stars from me!

Emerald pool and hot springs
Fabulous bathing. Short walk. The pool is a beautiful colour and warm to swim in, and the hot springs are hot like a bath. Can be a bit slippery but people will help each other so it’s ok. Well worth the visit.

We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful, warm pool and the relaxing hot springs, and that the short walk made the visit easy and pleasant. We also appreciate your helpful note about the slippery areas and the supportive atmosphere among visitors. Thank you for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you again for another enjoyable visit. Best Regards, Oh-Hoo Team

A must see! Enjoy a soak at the Hot Springs
We really enjoyed this half day tour! We were picked up at our Ao Nang accommodation around 830am and got back at 3pm. Still a fairly full day and we were tired by the time we got back so we were happy not to have the temple with 1200 steps still to go! We had an hour to swim at the Emerald Pool. While you are there it’s worth walking the extra 10 mins to the Blue Pool - not for swimming. There is a concrete path from the entry to the pools. The shortcut back to the entry is gravel. Our tour did not include lunch but there was no issue stopping at the same restaurant to order & buy our own food. The prices of the meals were cheaper than we had found in Ao Nang! It meant we were still close by our tour guide who handled both tours (full & half day). Next stop the Hot Springs. Also there for an hour where you can jump between different temperature pools and cool off in the river. I think the minerals in the water contributed to our feeling so relaxed and a bit sleepy at the end. Just what we all needed! If you have some sensory issues being in bare feet in the natural waters, bring reef shoes. We didn’t find sharp rocks but there is some leaf litter at the bottom that feels squishy under foot. As far as the walk goes, we had orthopaedic thongs/flip flops that were fine to walk in. I don’t think you need shoes & socks. Highly recommend!

Not enjoyable
This whole thing was very overpriced and very underwhelming. The entrance fee wasn’t included so we were essentially just paying for an overpriced taxi as the guide was just dropping us off. We went when all the other tours went so it was insanely busy to the point where it wasn’t even enjoyable. We ended up not even going in the emerald pool as there were too many people and we just took a taxi home as we didn’t feel like waiting over 2 hours to be taken back to our hotel. We were extremely dissatisfied with this avoid it if you can and just book a transfer elsewhere.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're apologize to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and will take your comments into consideration as we review our tour arrangements. Your input is valuable, and we appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. We hope to have the opportunity to provide a better experience in the future. Best Regards, Oh-Hoo Team

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Half Day Jungle Tour to Emerald pool and Krabi Hot Spring: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krabi.
How much does Half Day Jungle Tour to Emerald pool and Krabi Hot Spring cost?
+
Prices start at $38 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krabi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Half Day Jungle Tour to Emerald pool and Krabi Hot Spring take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krabi is not rushed.
Is Half Day Jungle Tour to Emerald pool and Krabi Hot Spring worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krabi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Half Day Jungle Tour to Emerald pool and Krabi Hot Spring?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Half Day Jungle Tour to Emerald pool and Krabi Hot Spring suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Half Day Jungle Tour to Emerald pool and Krabi Hot Spring?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krabi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krabi and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Half Day Jungle Tour to Emerald pool and Krabi Hot Spring start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krabi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Krabi?
+
On Outty we rank every Krabi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Phi Phi Islands Tour with Lunch from Krabi, Phi Phi Early Bird & 4 Islands - Day Tour by Speedboat From Krabi, Railay and 4-Island Sunset Speedboat Cruise with Night Snorkel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Krabi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Krabi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
