    Awesome Tour

I highly recommend this tour. Captain Scott is fantastic and his boat is to die for. This boat is awesome and is like riding in a plane. Scott is very personable and very informative. We would cruise for a while and then drift while learning about the river. He stops about half way on "his island" and puts out some snacks and lets you stretch your legs. We are in Oregon for a week and so far this has been the best part of the trip. Again HIGHLY recommend, you won't be sorry.

GREAT fall day on the river

This was one of the best tours we have taken. Capitan Scott is very knowledgeable of the water and history of the river. My Husband and I took a day trip on a beautiful October fall sunny day for his birthday. The boat has heater, and he can close off the windows so you can be nice and cozy all year long. We were able to access areas of the river that only kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, or jet boats can get to. To say the least, we were the only ones on the river! We had a small picnic at coffee island, had yummy berries, scones and tea. Total trip was a little over 4 hours. Captain Scott never rushed us and we got to soak up the gorgeous day on the river. We can wait to be back and share this experience with our kids. Just an FYI, he also can do tours and see the Christmas Ships along the willamette in December!

    Best money ever spent

This was the most amazing time on the river with Captain Scott. He is the true definition of professional and has a great personality. He provided the cutest little snack during our tour and the spread he put out was incredible. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our birthdays and Captain Scott made the day even more special for us. Schedule a tour and I guarantee you won't be disappointed! Thank you Captain Scott for an amazing day on the river.

    Touched by an Angel

Everything about this excursion was amazing. The boat, the river, the weather. But then there's Scott. Who I'm convinced is just one of best examples of being Human that we have down here on earth. My wife and I and our two dogs were in from a year of living in a very tortured Downtown Portland, our nerves extremely frazzled. Our oldest dog, a Cattle dog Shepard mix, immediately ran right up to him to get pets and give kisses. Our Cattle dog doesn't like men, and she especially doesn't like tall men. But she ran right up to Scott like they were long lost friends. That was my first clue. Scott's KICK A$$ boat, extensive knowledge of the river, and incredible hosting skills (somehow he knew exactly when to engage us, and when to just let us sit quietly and enjoy the river) was the highlight of our week long trip. The snacks provided were just right and I can not say enough about our host. The entire 4 hour experience was intensely relaxing, a little fun and exciting (that boat can GO) and just what two anxious nervous systems needed. Thank you so much for your hospitality Scott. And Yacht Rock on. :)

Response from the operator: Thank You Tameka for your kind words. It was a pleasure to host you and your wife and dogs. The river has its way to soothe our souls. I am forever grateful to learn that Yacht rock station on Pandora. . Captain Scott

Guided Jetboat Tour for Six -Private: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Portland.

How much does Guided Jetboat Tour for Six -Private cost?

    +

Prices start at $225 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Portland usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Guided Jetboat Tour for Six -Private take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Portland is not rushed.

Is Guided Jetboat Tour for Six -Private worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Portland, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Guided Jetboat Tour for Six -Private?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Guided Jetboat Tour for Six -Private suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Guided Jetboat Tour for Six -Private?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Portland can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Portland and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Guided Jetboat Tour for Six -Private start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Portland within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Portland?

    +

Portland's activity list is food cart and brewery crawls, Columbia River Gorge waterfall tours to Multnomah Falls, Mount Hood day trips and Willamette Valley pinot tastings. Gorge tours vary in how many falls they reach, so route detail is the deciding factor. On Outty we rank every Portland experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Guided Oregon Coast Tour from Portland, Multnomah Falls and Columbia River Gorge Half-Day Hiking Tour, Columbia Gorge Waterfalls and Mt. Hood Tour - Full Day. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Portland?

    +

June to October for the Gorge, with waterfalls at their fullest in spring. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Portland?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
