Our guided tour to Alhambra was cancelled one day before our tour! it is a scam!!

We booked in februari a guided tour for the Alhambra in Grenada incl palace etc With get your guide who outsourced it to Like (which we did not know ) Today just ONE !! day before our tour they cancelled our booking for which we especially came to Granada!! Unacceptable as they offer no alternative just a refund. So we stand here with empty hands! Big disappointment for our kids and us!

Response from the operator: We are sorry to read that. The problem was we issued the tickets for the wrong date and Alhambra doesn't allow us to change o cancel them. We tried our best to get you tickets for the correct date but they were sold out. We are really sorry about our mistake but, luckily, this situation don't happen often.

    Excellent tour of the Alhambra

Lucked out with a tour of only 7 people at the Alhambra. The tour guide was totally fluent in English and the cost of the tour was better than most which made the three hour tour fly quickly. I have been to the Alhambra over 20 times and always take two to three tours each visit. Each time I find that I learn sometime new with each guide and this was no exception. A+ Our guide was full of facts but at the same time he was very open to questions.

Response from the operator: Thanks for your review! We are glad to read that you enjoyed that much the tour. We work hard to offer the best experiences. Hope to see you again, the Alhambra is always a good plan!

Wonderful experience at the Alhambra. Learned so much history, architecture, religious aspects and art.

Thank you so much Ana, from Live Granada, for organizing our informative and wonderful Alhambra tour. It was amazing. We met Laura, our tour guide, at 8:15 am and had an incredible experience at the Alhambra with her. Her passion for history, her understanding of the time period, the architecture, the religion and the individual leaders and families were amazing. She explained in detail the culture, the history, so many details of the palaces and their inhabitants… we learned so much. Laura was so friendly, willing to share her vast knowledge of the history and dynamics of the time. We would totally recommend their tour. It was very comprehensive, informative and the time went by quickly. I would also recommend the tour in the morning. Many thanks for sharing this special experience with us. And thank you for the restaurant recommendations as they were awesome as well. Many thanks again.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Kathleen. We are really happy that you enjoyed the tour. We'll keep working hard to offer the best Alhambra experiences. Regards.

Guided Alhambra Tour with Official Tickets: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Granada.

How much does Guided Alhambra Tour with Official Tickets cost?

    +

Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Granada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Guided Alhambra Tour with Official Tickets take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Granada is not rushed.

Is Guided Alhambra Tour with Official Tickets worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Granada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Guided Alhambra Tour with Official Tickets?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Guided Alhambra Tour with Official Tickets suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Guided Alhambra Tour with Official Tickets?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Granada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Granada and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Guided Alhambra Tour with Official Tickets start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Granada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Granada?

    +

On Outty we rank every Granada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Granada: Sierra Nevada Safari tour up to 2500 meters high, Granada Tapas and Wine Small Group Tour, Granada: Albaicin and Sacromonte Segway Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Granada?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Granada?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
