Really good time in wadi shab+ bimmah sinkhole

It was my first time getting a group tour when I'm solo travelling and my tour guide Yousef made the experience much better, he was calm helpfull and encouraging for or group. Wadi shab is a very swimming experience and there was this girl who didn't know how to swim so she got a life jacket but was scared to go on the water but yousef helped her to have most of her experience. He always show us cool things on the route, the great places for photos. The tour was amazing and a had a great time‼️

Unforgettable First Trip to Oman – Wadi Shab with the Absolute Best Guide Fawzi!

If you are visiting Oman for the first time, going to Wadi Shab is an absolute must—and our tour guide Fawzi made the experience 10/10. From start to finish, this was hands-down one of the best tour experiences I have ever had. From the moment I was picked up, safety and comfort were clearly the top priorities. Car was clean and comfortable. Our driver was extremely safe, smooth, and professional, which made the drive out to the wadi completely relaxing and stress-free. What truly sets Fawzi apart is his "above and beyond" level of service. He has a genuine passion for showing guests the beauty of Oman. He took care of every single detail, constantly checking in to make sure everyone in the group was safe, comfortable, and well-hydrated. Unlike many tours that feel rushed or strictly timed, Fawzi allowed us to take our time, soak in the breathtaking scenery, swim through the gorgeous turquoise waters, and enjoy every moment without ever feeling hurried. His attentiveness and watchful eye made everyone feel completely secure throughout the hike and swim into the cave. Fawzi’s warmth, generosity, and incredible hospitality created memories from my first trip to Oman that I will treasure forever. I cannot recommend Fawzi and his team enough—if you want an unforgettable, safe, and truly special day at Wadi Shab, look no further!

    Highly recommended

We have traveled a lot of countries together and this was the best experience. They charged 35 OMR per person for the shared tour to Wadi and Bimmah sinkhole. Mr Khalid was our guide (Best guide). They picked up from our hotel at around 8 am. We reached at wadi around 10 am. After 1 hour trekking which also included a cliff jumping, we reached the canyon. We swam across the canyon (suggest to rent out a life jacket even-though you know swimming) around 1 hour we spent swimming through different channels of the canyon. Our guide khalid took a lot of photos and videos. We reached Bimmah sinkhole by around 3 pm and we reached back hotel by around 6.00 pm. We really enjoyed it🥰

Group Tour to Wadi Shab Hike, Swim, Cave, Sinkhole & Fins Beach: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Muscat.

How much does Group Tour to Wadi Shab Hike, Swim, Cave, Sinkhole & Fins Beach cost?

    +

Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Muscat usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Group Tour to Wadi Shab Hike, Swim, Cave, Sinkhole & Fins Beach take?

    +

Plan for about 8.2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Muscat is not rushed.

Is Group Tour to Wadi Shab Hike, Swim, Cave, Sinkhole & Fins Beach worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Muscat, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Group Tour to Wadi Shab Hike, Swim, Cave, Sinkhole & Fins Beach?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Group Tour to Wadi Shab Hike, Swim, Cave, Sinkhole & Fins Beach suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8.2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Group Tour to Wadi Shab Hike, Swim, Cave, Sinkhole & Fins Beach?

    +

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Muscat can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Muscat and add a light layer if any part of the 8.2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Group Tour to Wadi Shab Hike, Swim, Cave, Sinkhole & Fins Beach start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Muscat within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Muscat?

    +

On Outty we rank every Muscat experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Wadi Shab and Bimmah Sinkhole Group Full Day Tour, Wadi Shab and Bimmah Sinkhole Full Day Tour, Daymaniat Islands Guided Snorkeling Adventure from Muscat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Muscat?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Muscat?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
