A great place to learn Spanish
First off, Aiola and ISE are the same school, and students are in the same classes. In my first week two of us were Ailola, and the second two students were ISE, it's all the same. Eugenio and the staff are the absolute best! I did group classes for two weeks and a homestay in the student home run by Valeria. The house is a mix of local university students as well as international students studying Spanish. It was a great experience. Not only are the lessons great, but the activities and trips throughout the week are also a lot of fun. Quito is a really cool city with plenty to do, and the day trips in and out of the city make the whole experience even better. This school is set up very well. It's a great place to learn Spanish, and about Ecuadorian culture. They also have a great travel network if you'd like to see it do anything while you're in Ecuador.
Response from the operator: Hola Culture42861200715, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Ailola Quito. It's fantastic to hear that you had such a positive and enriching time with us, and that you found our team and classes to learn Spanish to be of the highest caliber. We are also glad to know that you enjoyed the activities and trips we organized, which are designed to complement your studies and provide a deeper immersion into Ecuadorian culture. We appreciate your kind words about our staff and the travel network that we offer to get to know the beauty of this amazing country. We are thrilled that you had such a wonderful stay with us. Once again, thank you for your kind words. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future! Hasta pronto, The Ailola Quito Team

Learn Spanish and about Ecuador while exploring Quito
My husband and I spent 4 weeks studying Spanish st Ailola Quito. We took both private and group classes, my husband was a complete beginner and I had been studying Spanish for a few years. In both the group classes and the private classes the instruction was at a good pace and very through, the private classes were highly personalization. Both our teachers were exceptional. The classes were lively and very focused on conversation. I had a few years of studying Spanish, and Roberto, my instructor, identified the specific areas that I needed improvement with grammar and pronunciation and tailored the curriculum to fit my needs. My husband’s instructor, Adrianna did an excellent job relating the class material to daily life in Ecuador, so the classes very about not only learning Spanish, but learning about life in Ecuador and Ecuadorian culture. The school helped to organize tours, and when circumstances prevented our taking a planned tour, they worked with the operators to get an refund. They recommended and reserved, Mindo Coffee Lodge and Spa for a visit to Mindo, the hotel was lovely. The Airbnb they recommended for our stay, Old Towne Quito Suites, was also wonderful. I highly recommend this experience in Quito
Response from the operator: Hola emhooper! Many thanks for leaving this recommendation to learn Spanish at Ailola Quito. We are very happy to read how well it suited both of you and that you had a great experience that allowed to highly improve your skills in the Spanish language. Furthermore, it is great that you were able to stay for a good duration of the program and get the most of Combined classes to improve, strenghten and advance with the care of the School organization and teacher's following up to your improvements. We also appreciate to know that you felt taken care of. We try to give support to our Students so that they can have an even better experience with the recommendations, thank you for letting us know that you had a good experience in your trip and accommodation recommendations. We for sure hope to see you again in the near future. Keep on using your great new Spanish skills. All the best from Ecuador for both of you! The Ailola Quito Team

Two excellent Months with Ailola
My friend and I spent two months with Ailola Spanish school and absolutely loved it. Eugenio picked us up at the airport and took us to our Airbnb. The next day he took us on a walking tour and showed us the bus route we were going to take to school. We studied for a month with 4 different teachers in Quito and loved all of them. Everyone is overwhelmingly helpful and Eugenio is eager to assist you with whatever you need. Every day during the break there is hot fresh delicious coffee and bread where you can talk with all the students and teachers. Once a week the teachers made traditional Ecuadorian dishes after classes for everyone. Eugenio took us to a nearby town after classes one day, and drove us to Otavalo when we moved there for more classes. We spent one month studying in Otavalo with Carlos, which was awesome as we were the only students. Carlos took us on many hikes near Otavalo, as well as the markets. We even returned to the school in Quito at the end of our three months in Ecuador and they assisted us with renewing our travel visas. Overall an excellent experience!
Response from the operator: LalphG, Gracias, it is great to read how much you enjoyed your Spanish program and that you got to be at more of one of our locations. Thank you for sharing about your experience and for valuing our work and the details we put in our programs. Every one of us is dedicated to contribute to a unique experience for our students and we are happy to offer a personalized service. We are also very glad that you have had such a great time in Ecuador to prolong your time here. We hope to see you soon and wish the best for your travels! The Ailola Quito Team

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Quito.
How much does Group Spanish Course at Ailola Quito cost?

How long does Group Spanish Course at Ailola Quito take?
+
Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Quito is not rushed.
Is Group Spanish Course at Ailola Quito worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Quito, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Group Spanish Course at Ailola Quito?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Group Spanish Course at Ailola Quito suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 120-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Group Spanish Course at Ailola Quito?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Quito can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Quito and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Group Spanish Course at Ailola Quito start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Quito within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Quito?
+
On Outty we rank every Quito experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cotopaxi Volcano full day tour with all the entrances, every day, Cotopaxi tour from Quito -horseback ride and hike-NO TOURISTY way, Baños Full Day Tour from Quito Including Entrances and Activities. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Quito?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Quito?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
