Unforgettable 7-day wine tour in Greece

My friends and I recently embarked on a 7-day wine tour in Greece, and it was nothing short of extraordinary! We had the pleasure of booking a custom private wine tour through Englobia, covering Athens, Nemea, and Santorini. Every moment of this trip was an absolute delight, but the true gems were our wine tour guides, Vasilis in Athens and Argyris in Santorini. In Athens, Vasilis was a fountain of knowledge about Greek wine, history, and culture. However, the real highlight of our trip was our time in Santorini with Argyris. The breathtaking beauty of this island was perfectly complemented by Argyris's expertise and warm personality. He introduced us to the unique world of Santorini wines, from the distinctive Assyrtiko to the sweet Vinsanto. The winery tours were exceptional, and the sunsets over the Caldera while sipping on local wines were truly magical moments. They exceeded our expectations with its well-organized itinerary, seamless logistics, and personalized touch. Every winery we visited was carefully selected, offering us the chance to taste the finest wines and learn about their production from the passionate winemakers themselves. This 7-day wine tour was a dream come true for any wine enthusiast. It was an unforgettable experience, and we are already planning our return trip to Greece to explore more of its wine regions. Cheers to an amazing adventure!

    Enticing

My family and I are wine lovers, so we were looking for a wine tour in Greece similar to the one we took in Italy. We happened upon this trip by chance and did not pass it up! This was a fantastic and very simple way to explore some gorgeous spots in Greece while also enjoying some excellent wines. Despite the fact that everything seemed wonderful, Santorini was the trip's high point! We hope to have the company organize our next trip to Greece by the beginning of September!

Greece Wine Roads: Athens, Nemea and Santorini: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.

How much does Greece Wine Roads: Athens, Nemea and Santorini cost?

    +

Prices start at $2,177 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Greece Wine Roads: Athens, Nemea and Santorini take?

    +

Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.

Is Greece Wine Roads: Athens, Nemea and Santorini worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Greece Wine Roads: Athens, Nemea and Santorini?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Greece Wine Roads: Athens, Nemea and Santorini suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 120-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Greece Wine Roads: Athens, Nemea and Santorini?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Greece Wine Roads: Athens, Nemea and Santorini start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Athens?

    +

On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis, Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Acropolis E-bike Tour With Entrance Tickets. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Athens?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Athens?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
