What you get
About this experience
Est of Rome, about 25 miles from the city, usually reacheable in less then 50 minutes of drive..... that's Tivoli. An ancient hill top city. After its early pre-roman history a Roman Emperor, Hadrian, second Century A.D., had the vision of a Great Architect following himself the construction of his summer residence, "Villa Adriana". Rising on a plateau flanking the Aniene river, a river that keeps on flowing towards Rome, water was always a dominant element in Tivoli. And being in aboundance has always been used to amaze. In this this tour you will see from the still water of the Roman swimming pools to the sparkling water spouting from the Renaissance fountains of Villa D' Este the other masterpiece of the reinassance architecture, up to the natural flowing of the Waterfalls. Villa D' Este made Tivoli' s taste for Beauty famous and copied in Europe. The Restaurant we suggest is located in another suggestive archeological area overlooking the Waterfalls.

Full imersion in the local italian kitchen. This restaurant, established in the 17th century is placed into another jewel of the Roman archeologicy, even if we are in the Medieval part of the town here, that of the Vergin Vestal and Oracle Temple. Weather permitting lunch will be outside, under a pergula made of century-old plants on aterrace overlooking Tivoli Waterfalls. We are in the Medieval part of the city now. We chose a daily menu', everyday different called "Menu of the Territory" made of: First course, Second course and side dish, Dessert (free choise as far as Wines concern) at the price of 30 euro. Anyway feel free to order whatever inspires you. The menu is only a suggestion.

How much does Great Tivoli Tour from Civitavecchia port cost?

How long does Great Tivoli Tour from Civitavecchia port take?
+

Is Great Tivoli Tour from Civitavecchia port worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (0/5 across 0 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lake Bracciano, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Great Tivoli Tour from Civitavecchia port?
+

Is Great Tivoli Tour from Civitavecchia port suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Great Tivoli Tour from Civitavecchia port?
+
Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lake Bracciano can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lake Bracciano and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lake Bracciano within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lake Bracciano?
+
On Outty we rank every Lake Bracciano experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Civitavecchia Shore Excursion: Best of Rome Private Tour, Food Tasty and History Tour in Civitavecchia, VIP Tour of Rome (3/5/8hrs) Colosseum & Vatican Museums. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lake Bracciano?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lake Bracciano?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
