Grand Teton adventure
Jul 2026 • Couples Matt was an awesome guide. He is multitalented; adventurer, teacher, chef, naturalist. He knew exactly where to go to find wildlife. He was very knowledgeable about the area, specifically the history and geology. The meal he prepared for our picnic was delicious. I highly recommend booking through good trips. Ask for Matt.
Response from the operator: We're so glad you had such a fun time in Grand Teton National Park with Matt! He's amazing and I'm glad you got to have some good eats with him too! Thanks for joining us in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and we hope to have you along some of our country's other National Parks soon!

The beautiful Tetons - a must with Good Trip Adventures
We had a wonderful experience with Good Trip Adventures, in particular our guide, Sarah Hardy. She struck the perfect balance of providing information and seeing the sites, but without feeling rushed. She knew how to avoid the big crowds, sharing locations with us that may have been less traveled but allowed us to fully experience the park. Sarah was wonderful about knowing how to spot wildlife - she helped us find a moose in the grasses which was so much fun to see! Trips like this are a reminder why booking a tour guide is so important - while I'm sure we could have navigated the parks on our own, this was completely stress-free for us, so we could enjoy each other and the beautiful scenery.
Response from the operator: We're so glad you can enjoy a stress-free day with our lovely guide, Sarah! Her experience and wisdom help make these tours stress-free and well worth it! Thanks for joining us in the Tetons and we hope to have you along at another National Park soon!

Amazing day with an amazing guide!
We had an amazing day at Grand Teton National Park, and it far exceeded our expectations. The main reason for that was our guide Sarah! Words can’t describe what an incredible job she did showing us all the sights and creating a first class experience for our family! No detail was left untouched, her knowledge of how to navigate crowds and get you to the perfect spot, and her ability to make every moment fun will be something our family never forgets! Thank you Sarah for a once in a lifetime experience! We highly recommend Sarah and Good Trip Adventures - you will be blown away!
Response from the operator: Our guides help make the experiences all the more special and we're glad Sarah can do that for you! Thanks for joining us at the Grand Teton National Park and we hope we can have you along at another National Park tour soon!

Amazing day with Jenni in the Grand Tetons
We had an amazing day with Jenni exploring the Grand Tetons! She picked us up earlier than originally scheduled, knowing that we were super passionate about finding wildlife. She coordinated with us ahead of time and built the itinerary around our love of seeing wildlife. Our 16-year-old son is especially passionate about wildlife and birding, and he was able to "geek" out with Jenni about all things travel/wildlife. We saw so much with her and had great conversations. She also went out of her way to bring a cake and candle to celebrate our sons upcoming 16th birthday during our delicious lunch spread that she organized. We were super impressed with her, the van, the binoculars that were provided as well as the drinks and snacks. All around we would 1000% recommend a tour with Jenni/Good Trip Adventures in the Tetons and/or Yellowstone. If we had not already booked a different tour company in Yellowstone, we would have wanted to have a day tour with Jenni in Yellowstone as well. Thank you, Good Trip Adventures, and especially Jenni for a memorable day in the Grand Tetons!
Response from the operator: Aw I love hearing about your amazing, customized experience with our lovely guide, Jenni! She's awesome and we're glad we could help celebrate a big 16th birthday with you! Thanks for choosing us and we hope to see you along for another Good Trip!

Our guide, Kelsi was amazing and made the experience extra special.
We had the pleasure of spending two full days with Kelsi Warren from Good Trip Tours—one day in Grand Teton National Park and another in Yellowstone—and I can honestly say she was one of the best guides I have ever had. Kelsi is incredibly knowledgeable about the parks, wildlife, ecosystems, and history of the region. She has an amazing ability to spot animals that most visitors would completely miss, and her enthusiasm and expertise brought both parks to life for us. Every sighting became a learning experience, and we left each day with a much deeper appreciation for these incredible places. What truly sets Kelsi apart, however, is the level of care and attention she gives her guests. My traveling companion had special needs, and Kelsi thoughtfully planned each day around our comfort and abilities. She checked in frequently to make sure we were doing well, adjusted the pace when needed, and made us feel completely cared for throughout both tours. The details mattered, too. Her vehicle was spotless and well-maintained, stocked with snacks, drinks, binoculars, and helpful park information. Lunches were thoughtfully arranged, and every aspect of the day felt organized and effortless. What impressed me most was how personal the experience became. When we joined Kelsi again for our Yellowstone tour, she remembered our likes and dislikes from the previous trip. She even remembered that it was my traveling companion’s birthday and surprised her with special birthday touches, including remembering her favorite type of cake. That level of thoughtfulness is rare and speaks volumes about the kind of person Kelsi is. If you’re considering a tour of Grand Teton or Yellowstone, ask for Kelsi if you can. She combines exceptional knowledge, professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality in a way that turns a great tour into an unforgettable experience. We cannot recommend her highly enough.
Response from the operator: We're so glad to hear about your unforgettable experience with Kelsi and we're happy that we can help make your companion's birthday special on this trip! We hope to see you again soon!

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Grand Teton Full Day Private Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jackson Hole.
How much does Grand Teton Full Day Private Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $851 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jackson Hole usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Grand Teton Full Day Private Tour take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jackson Hole is not rushed.
Is Grand Teton Full Day Private Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jackson Hole, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Grand Teton Full Day Private Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Grand Teton Full Day Private Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Grand Teton Full Day Private Tour?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jackson Hole can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jackson Hole and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Grand Teton Full Day Private Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jackson Hole within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jackson Hole?
+
Jackson Hole is wildlife-first: sunrise safaris for moose, bison and bears in Grand Teton, Snake River floats, Yellowstone day trips and winter sleigh rides through the National Elk Refuge. Guide experience and optics quality separate the wildlife tours. On Outty we rank every Jackson Hole experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Snake River Scenic Float, 8 Hour Combination Snowshoe & Wildlife Viewing in Grand Teton National Park, Best of Jackson Hole Wildlife Private Safari Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jackson Hole?
+
June to September for hiking and floats, December to March for snow. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jackson Hole?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
