Teton Experience
Geoffrey was an outstanding tour guide.. His deep knowledge of the park—spanning its wildlife, environmental uniqueness ,history, and the profound geological events that shaped it—made this tour truly exceptional. Although I had previously visited the Tetons, this tour gave me a much deeper understanding of the significant events that shaped the park, as well as the environment in which its wildlife thrives and survives and adapts to the changing environmental pressures. Geoffrey's explanations about the discovery of the park, its historical significance, and its natural features and geological features were second to none. He was informative, communicative, and highly interactive throughout the tour. He also went out of his way to make sure I experienced the park's amazing scenery, geology, and wildlife. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone wanting more than just a scenic visit. It provides real depth, context, and insight into the animals, landscapes, and geological forces that have shaped Grand Teton National Park.

Majestic Tetons
Bilal was our wonderful guide. We were very comfortable in his Lincoln Aviator. A nice breakfast and lunch (sandwiches) along with snacks, water and other drinks were provided. Professional grade binoculars were available for our use. Since this was our first time visiting the Grand Teton NP, having Bilal drive us to the most popular and beautiful spots in GTNP, made this private tour comfortable and memorable. There were many beautiful spots where we were able to take amazing photos including those of wildlife — bison and antelope. Bilal was informative and patient especially with my four year old grandson who’s already quite the adventurer and seasoned traveler. We all had an amazing experience thanks to Bilal. He also can recommend the best restaurants, coffee shops and hikes in the area (for example, the hike to Phelps Lake) which was a challenge for some of us but not for my four year old grandson). Serenity, the natural beauty of the mountain and the clear, almost colorless water at Phelps Lake took our breath away. We are so grateful to Bilal and Tours In Color for providing us an incredible private tour to the GTNP that we will never forget. I highly recommend this tour and any other private tours with Tours In Color. P.S. We were so impressed with TIC, we also booked a private tour with them to Yellowstone.

Amazing, Personalized GTNP Tour
My friends and I revently enjoyed a private tour with Tours In Color at Grand Teton National Park, and it was a fantastic experience!! Our guide, Itai, was extremely knowledgeable and shared amazing stories about the park's history and wildlife. The highlight of our day was a delicious picnic at the shore of a beautiful lake. It really added a special touch to the tour. Itai's passion for the area made the experience educational and very engaging and the private setting made for a tour that felt personalized to our interests and pace. I couldn’t recommend Tours In Color and Itai more for an unforgettable adventure in Grand Teton National Park!

The most amazing tour for a photographer traveling with family!
Itai from Tours In Color was an extraordinary guide! He’s so knowledgeable about the history, culture, land and the absolutely best landmarks. As an avid photographer traveling with family, it’s not always easy to get everyone on board with patience to find the best spots for landscapes and wildlife photography, Itai made it enjoyable for my entire family, including a 15 year old teenager. I highly recommend the full day tour. It was incredible, we will absolutely do it again.

Spectacular Experience
My boyfriend and I have never been to this part of the country but we had to come out for a friends wedding. We only had two days to spend so we decided to book a tour that will let us see as much as we can. We are so glad we did! This is the most spectacular place I have been to. Thank you Tours In Color for showing us the spectacular landscape of Wyoming. This is truly one of the most beautiful places on Earth and couldn't recommend these guys to take you there enough!

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Grand Teton and its Wildlife: Private Guided Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jackson Hole.
How much does Grand Teton and its Wildlife: Private Guided Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $1390 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jackson Hole usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Grand Teton and its Wildlife: Private Guided Tour take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jackson Hole is not rushed.
Is Grand Teton and its Wildlife: Private Guided Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jackson Hole, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Grand Teton and its Wildlife: Private Guided Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Grand Teton and its Wildlife: Private Guided Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Grand Teton and its Wildlife: Private Guided Tour?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jackson Hole can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jackson Hole and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Grand Teton and its Wildlife: Private Guided Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jackson Hole within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jackson Hole?
+
Jackson Hole is wildlife-first: sunrise safaris for moose, bison and bears in Grand Teton, Snake River floats, Yellowstone day trips and winter sleigh rides through the National Elk Refuge. Guide experience and optics quality separate the wildlife tours. On Outty we rank every Jackson Hole experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Snake River Scenic Float, 8 Hour Combination Snowshoe & Wildlife Viewing in Grand Teton National Park, Best of Jackson Hole Wildlife Private Safari Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jackson Hole?
+
June to September for hiking and floats, December to March for snow. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jackson Hole?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
