GoCity Madrid. Big promises. No liability
Amigo Tours cancelled my tour 48 hrs before the event. They offered a replacement 5 days later. Unacceptable. They offered the entrance without a guide. I accepted but they couldn't get me a ticket. I booked 5 months in advance. Go City won't accept any responsibility for the cancellation. Don't buy GoCity Madrid. All their advertising is based on big tickets. They require advanced booking but won't accept any responsibility.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the cancellation and the difficulties you experienced with your booking. We understand how disappointing this must have been, particularly after booking well in advance. We’d like to understand your experience further and look into what happened with the tour and ticket. If you’re happy to share more information, please kindly contact us at reviews@gocity.com so we can investigate this further.

Horrible - stay away!
Horrible - most addresses were wrong, they didn’t know what GoCity was, even while showing them the app. Bookings were required (even for some museums) which is ridiculous during vacation to know where you will be at a certain time. Was not worth the money at all and regret this purchase.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience didn't meet your expectations. We understand how disappointing it can be when your trip doesn't go as planned. Our website and app contain a range of helpful information to help customers prepare before they travel. This includes our **Know Before You Go** section, which clearly highlights any attractions that require advance reservations. As reservation requirements are set by our attraction partners, we encourage customers to review this information before their trip to help plan their itinerary. We'd also like to learn more about the issues you experienced with the attraction addresses so we can investigate this further. Please contact us at reviews@gocity.com with your booking details and the names of the attractions you visited, and our team will be happy to look into this for you. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to improve our service. We hope to have the chance to provide you with a better Go City experience in the future.

It would be great if more selections are available within their providers of services
Enjoyed the options however some activities were not available, it appeared to have limited times. The big bus city tour appeared to have one bus per route and it took a long time to get another one. I tried to buy the one in Barcelona but all the Sagrada Família were booked so I did not buy. I would expend options thank you 4/5
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback and your 4/5 rating! We’re glad you enjoyed the range of options available. Some popular attractions, including Sagrada Família, can be in high demand, and Hop-On Hop-Off services run on set schedules which can affect waiting times. We encourage customers to use the Big Bus Madrid website for the most up-to-date tour information. Our website and app also provide clear guidance on availability and planning to help you get the most from your pass. We really appreciate your comments and hope you had a great overall experience!

Bad experience with Go City
Of the 3 attractions we picked, one was canceled, another the day was changed and the third we had a first time guide. Our guide at the Royal Palace was Gigi, and she was very good. The new one did ok, but rushed us through.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Go City. We’re sorry to hear that your itinerary did not fully go as planned. We also appreciate your positive feedback about your guide at the Royal Palace, Gigi, and we’re glad to hear she provided a very good experience. We understand how important smooth organisation and consistent tour quality are when visiting multiple attractions, and we’re sorry that this aspect of your experience fell short in some instances. Your feedback is very valuable, and we will be sure to pass it on to the relevant teams for review. If you would like to share any further details about your tours, please feel free to contact us at reviews@gocity.com.

Prado Museum was amazing; Clara was even better!
Our tour guide Clara was absolutely amazing! Beyond her enchanting Spanish accent, she was so incredible and knowledgeable about all the paintings and the history of each artist. It always makes these types of visits so much easier when the children can stay engaged with a guide and Clara was so patient and engaging with the kids. She encouraged them to ask questions and quizzed them throughout the tour. Definitely an A+ experience!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your lovely feedback. We’re so pleased to hear Clara made your Go City experience such a positive one. Her knowledge and engaging approach, especially with the children, clearly made the tour extra special. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with her.

Why this scores 48
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Go City Madrid Pass: 25+ Things To Do including Royal Palace: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Madrid.
How much does Go City Madrid Pass: 25+ Things To Do including Royal Palace cost?
+
Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Madrid usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Go City Madrid Pass: 25+ Things To Do including Royal Palace take?
+
Plan for about 24 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Madrid is not rushed.
Is Go City Madrid Pass: 25+ Things To Do including Royal Palace worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 106 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Madrid, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Go City Madrid Pass: 25+ Things To Do including Royal Palace?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Go City Madrid Pass: 25+ Things To Do including Royal Palace suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 24-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Go City Madrid Pass: 25+ Things To Do including Royal Palace?
+
Around 37 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Madrid can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Madrid and add a light layer if any part of the 24-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Go City Madrid Pass: 25+ Things To Do including Royal Palace start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Madrid within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Madrid?
+
On Outty we rank every Madrid experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Madrid Essential: Historic Center, Plaza Mayor & Royal Palace, Madrid Walking Tour from Puerta del Sol to Retiro Park, Madrid Oscuro: Torture, Ghosts, Crimes and Legends. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Madrid?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Madrid?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
