    Save money and sacrifice sanity

The Go City Pass for Cancun offers genuine cost savings if you plan to hit many excursions and that's its one major upside. If you want a cheaper vacation, you can achieve it here. However, the execution is deeply flawed. The app's promise that many tours are "just show up" is misleading. We found that nearly every major excursion requires a mandatory, manual reservation made directly with the local operator, despite what the Go City app description claimed. We wasted time being turned away because the information provided by the pass was incorrect. Compounding this problem is the complete lack of customer support. When issues inevitably arose with booking confirmations or operator disputes, Go City provided zero help, leaving us totally exposed to figure out the logistics ourselves. Final Verdict and and Recommendation The Go City Pass is a massive headache of frustrating reservations and nonexistent support. Skip the Go City hassle and use Viator instead. While you might pay slightly more per activity, Viator offers clear, upfront booking requirements and instant confirmation. You pay a small premium for reliability, sanity, and knowing you won't be turned away on the day of your tour. Save your vacation time and don't spend it fighting for reservations.

Response from the operator: Hi there, we’re sorry to hear about your experience in Cancun. Booking requirements are listed on both our website and in the Go City app, and all details for each attraction, including reservation instructions, can be found within the attraction listings. We encourage our customers to review booking requirements before visiting to help ensure a smooth experience. We’re also sorry to hear about the difficulties you encountered with our customer support team. Please know that we care deeply about your experience and will be investigating this further to improve our service. The Go City Pass offers great value and savings for travelers who want to enjoy multiple attractions, tours, and activities with flexibility and convenience. Our friendly support team is always here to help if you need assistance.

Extreme Adventure Park – All Day Combo Tour $165.00 - FALSELY ADVERTISED: Snorkeling ONLY

My wife and I purchased the GoCity 4 day All-Inclusive pass for Cancun. Our first 2 days activities went well without a hitch. The 3rd day I booked us the Extreme Adventure Park – All Day Combo Tour. On the site - it says: "Enjoy a one-hour snorkel session on the Great Mayan Reef. Includes a 50-minute ATV ride on a single or double bike through the jungle. From snorkeling to ziplining, you'll enjoy this adrenaline-packed day at Puerto Morelos." It is total BS and we wasted a whole day on this. When we got picked up at our hotel - the driver and dispatch informed us that all we would get with the GoCity pass is a snorkel tour. Really? Thanks GoCity and Extreme Adventures. We went on the snorkel tour and it was ok. Nothing great. Kevin was a good guide but man they do the HARD SELL on you. You cannot take your own snorkel photos - so that's $59USD for their pics, and they pretty much stick the tip jar in your face at the end of this activity so you are forced to throw some pesos their way. I would upload some photos of this activity - but unfortunately all I have is memories since customer photos are prohibited. Do not waste your GoCity pass on this activity.

Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for sharing your experience, and we're truly sorry that your visit did not live up to expectations. We apologize for any confusion regarding the activity details and understand how frustrating this must have been. Please drop us an email at: reviews@gocity.com with all your order information, so we can investigate and help you with the best resolution. We value your feedback and would like to ensure a better experience for future guests. Best Regards Go City

    Unusable and no customer support

I bought an all inclusive pass with 3 attractions in mind. The first I had no trouble. The second happened to be closed but I only found that after making the purchase. The third refused to accept my pass and asked me to call Go City. While Go City proudly advertises a 24 hour call center, no one actually picked up the phone despite several tries. I tried emailing them after the pass expired but no answer yet. Buy it if you’re keen to roll the dice and feel lucky.

Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We're sorry to hear about your disappointing experience with Go City. We would like to look into this for you. Please drop us an email at: reviews@gocity.com with all your order information, and we'll be happy to take a closer look at your case. Best Regards Go City

Had a ball with the kids

We had a great time using All Inclusive passes! If you're staying in Cancun, this is such a fun way to explore. Booking or showing up to attractions was very easy. We loved that you can walk up to many places on the fly, and others were very easy to reserve. Premium options are really good, plenty to pick from! This is a fun pass to use for families. Definitely recommend!

Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for your review. We're happy to hear that you had a good time in Cancun. We hope to serve you again in the near future. Best Regards Go City

Go City: Cancun Pass: 15+ Things To Do - includes Chichén Itzá: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.

How much does Go City: Cancun Pass: 15+ Things To Do - includes Chichén Itzá cost?

    +

Prices start at $129 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Go City: Cancun Pass: 15+ Things To Do - includes Chichén Itzá take?

    +

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.

Is Go City: Cancun Pass: 15+ Things To Do - includes Chichén Itzá worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 43 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Go City: Cancun Pass: 15+ Things To Do - includes Chichén Itzá?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Go City: Cancun Pass: 15+ Things To Do - includes Chichén Itzá suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Go City: Cancun Pass: 15+ Things To Do - includes Chichén Itzá?

    +

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Go City: Cancun Pass: 15+ Things To Do - includes Chichén Itzá start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cancun?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cancun?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cancun?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
