Don't sleep on this fantastic tour company!

We recently used My Private Paris for our trip in June. I can't say enough wonderful things about the company and the experience. *Everything* in Paris requires planning: tickets, transportation. Even things that are free entry sometimes require tickets. Navigating all this online is tricky and filled with Scammers. My travel arranger at MPP was Ludivine and she was a gem! I'm convinced she knows everything about Paris! I just told her what I wanted to see, what I wanted a guided tour for and she did the rest. Group tours, private tours (which we used and our driver Anicet and our guides, Ludivine, Victor and Hugo....I know....how much more French can it be!? ;) ) were fanTASTic guides who just made me as excited about Parisian history and culture as they clearly are! It's like wandering around with fun friends! I feel like I would have missed SO much information if I had done a group tour. They can arrange for you to be picked up at your hotel and dropped off it that's what you want. In short, MPP took our trip from great to Just a completely wonderful dream vacation. I shall be returning to Paris, and I shall be using My Private Paris without a doubt!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much Nick for this fantastic review about our whole team in the office, the guides and chauffeurs. We are all passionate about our work, and reading such beautiful lines is a splendid reward !

Outstanding Full day Versailles & Giverny Private Tour

We did My Private Paris full day tour with Versailles and Giverny (Monet’s Garden). Zach was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. His depth and breadth of historical knowledge was remarkable. We learned so much about French history throughout the Palace, Greek Mythology as we walked the gardens, art history, and local culture such as different coffee styles. He could even identify a picture we took in Monet’s home, the artist, and all their other art and where it’s located. He knew when we needed to rush to get to something before crowds and also when we could slow down and take it in. We enjoyed getting to know him over the day and missed having his kind heart and brilliant mind the rest of our trip. A perfect day. Absolutely worth it.

Response from the operator: Bonjour Heather, Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a glowing review! We’re absolutely thrilled to hear that your **full-day private tour of Versailles and Giverny** was such a highlight of your trip. At *My Private Paris*, we take pride in crafting **personalized experiences** that balance history, art, and authentic French culture — and it sounds like Zach delivered that perfectly. He’ll be so happy to know that his passion, knowledge, and thoughtful pacing made your day both enriching and relaxing. Versailles and Monet’s Garden are truly magical places, and we’re delighted that you experienced them in such depth. Please share your wonderful experience with friends planning a trip to Paris, and we hope to welcome you again soon for another unforgettable adventure! Warm regards, The My Private Paris Team

Marc was charming and knowledgeable. He shared quite freely about what we were seeing. He was able to answer all our questions with ease. I would definitely use his services again.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for this nice review about Marc, and we hope to see you again in Paris in the future ! Kind regards from Paris,

    Giverny--Quite an Impression

Dina, our highly knowledgable guide for Giverny, was full of information not found in tour guide books. I studied art history and loved her discussion of Monet's art, gardening plan, and irascible personality. As a special and unexpected surprise, Dina also knew quite a bit about Japanese prints and their influence on Monet and other Impressionists. Japanese printmaking is one of my specialities (and I taught that area at the college level) and quite enjoyed the exchange of information. We were able to go to the front of the line on a Sunday afternoon after a pleasant drive with Francois along a scenic route and accommodate my particular off-route request to see the Museum of Impressionism nearby. Highly, highly recommend My Private Paris for a tour that will suprise and delight you!!

Response from the operator: Bonjour et merci beaucoup for this amazing review about your Giverny tour with our guide Dina and our chauffeur François. We are so happy you had such a great time in their company. A bientôt in Paris !

Giverny Private Tour: Monet's House & Garden: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.

How much does Giverny Private Tour: Monet's House & Garden cost?

    +

Prices start at $1099 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Giverny Private Tour: Monet's House & Garden take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.

Is Giverny Private Tour: Monet's House & Garden worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Giverny Private Tour: Monet's House & Garden?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Giverny Private Tour: Monet's House & Garden suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Giverny Private Tour: Monet's House & Garden?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Giverny Private Tour: Monet's House & Garden start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

    +

Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Paris?

    +

April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Paris?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
