    Terrible tour and guide. ...

Terrible tour and guide. We retreated like second class citizens, and never told that not having a guided tour meant we waited in the general line like everybody else. Versailles was terrible. We stood in line for half an hour in the rain, and finally went to the café while the line went through. This only left us with a few minutes to go through their side. This was a nightmare.

Response from the operator: Dear Daniel, Thank you for your comment. We are very sorry that you did not enjoy the tour. However, we would like to clarify that there are circumstances beyond our control, such as the weather or the time spent in lines. Regarding your comment about the service, this is not the kind of experience we aim to provide, so we will review what happened. We invite you to contact our customer service, providing the reservation name and date, so that we can investigate the matter more effectively. Kind regards, Paris City Vision

Decent tour of two beautiful places

Both places were extremely crowded but worthwhile. We couldn't get into Monet's house due to crowds and time constraints but the gardens were splendid in full bloom. Lunch at the mill was poor but we enjoyed the place. Despite the crowds, we were able to see everything in Versailles which was magnificent. All in all, it was a worthwhile trip. Just a note of caution, an audio tour requires you to bring headphones and download an app to listen to the descriptions. This is not clearly stated that you do not get a Whisperer device.

Response from the operator: Dear Debora, Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. We're glad to hear you enjoyed both sites, especially the gardens and Versailles, despite the crowds. We appreciate your note regarding the audio guide — your feedback helps us improve communication and set clearer expectations. We hope to welcome you again for another experience in the future! Best Regards

    Beautiful flowers

This activity is very busy, alot of other tour groups at same time. Slow to get around the garden. Definitely work the visit though.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear you found the visit worthwhile, even with the crowds and slower pace in the gardens. It’s a popular destination, and we appreciate your patience. We're happy you still enjoyed the experience and hope to welcome you again in the future! Best regards,

    Beautiful day

Great tour, and we loved doing the it on our own with the guide’s help! Lots of information given on the coach while driving to the destination.

Response from the operator: Dear Lynne, Thank you for your lovely feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the tour and appreciated the guide’s support along the way. It’s great to hear that the information shared during the coach ride added to your experience. We hope to see you again on another adventure soon! Best regards,

Enjoyed the GIVERNY home any garden.

Loved this experience. The gardens the home and the GIVERNY trip was great. The Versailles portion was not so good. Could not understand the guide very well. Left entrance ticket on bus. Driver left. Guide disappeared so I did not get to go in but all the others did. We had fun despite the difficulties

Response from the operator: Dear Landra, Thank you for your feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the Giverny trip and the gardens, as well as the home, it's truly a special place to visit. We’re really sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced at Versailles. We understand how frustrating it must have been to have missed out on entering the site, and we’ll make sure to pass your comments along to help improve our coordination and communication. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding, and we’re glad to hear that you were still able to have fun despite the setbacks. We hope to welcome you again in the future for a smoother and even more enjoyable experience. Best regards,

Giverny & Versailles Audio Guided Day Trip with Lunch from Paris: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.

How much does Giverny & Versailles Audio Guided Day Trip with Lunch from Paris cost?

    +

Prices start at $192 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Giverny & Versailles Audio Guided Day Trip with Lunch from Paris take?

    +

Plan for about 9.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.

Is Giverny & Versailles Audio Guided Day Trip with Lunch from Paris worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 39 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Giverny & Versailles Audio Guided Day Trip with Lunch from Paris?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Giverny & Versailles Audio Guided Day Trip with Lunch from Paris suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Giverny & Versailles Audio Guided Day Trip with Lunch from Paris?

    +

Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 9.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Giverny & Versailles Audio Guided Day Trip with Lunch from Paris start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

    +

Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Paris?

    +

April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Paris?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
