    Monet house and shopping trip

The description of the tour is outdated, but the experience was good. We were dropped off at the Monet house and gardens and had plenty of time to wander through both and walk to the church and Monet’s grave, then stop for lunch. The Money house and gardens were beautiful and worth seeing. Then the bus took us to the outlet mall, but we found the mall to be a disappointment. Not a lot of stores, and even the discount prices were very expensive. Our bus driver was kind enough to let us sit on the bus for the last hour of the stop, maybe due to the thunderstorm that came through with a lot of rain mixed with hail. I would recommend that you take the trip out to the Monet house, but skip the mall

Response from the operator: Dear Bonita, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us — we truly appreciate your detailed feedback. We're glad to hear that your visit to the Monet house and gardens was a highlight of the day, and that you had enough time to explore both the property and the surrounding area at your own pace. We also want to acknowledge your comments regarding the outlet mall portion of the tour. We understand it did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Your feedback on the tour description being outdated is equally noted — we will make sure to review it so that future travelers have a more accurate picture of what to expect. We are also happy to hear that our driver was attentive and accommodating, especially given the difficult weather conditions you experienced. Your suggestions are very valuable to us as we continuously work to improve our tours, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again on one of our future itineraries. Kind regards, Extime Travel (formerly Paris City Vision)

    Lousy communication

Our Uber was stuck in traffic. I messaged what said was the tour operator but was not. They left without us and said had they got the message they would have waited. Suck poor service and not what I am used to from Viator.. I think I have to book now directly with the company so it is accurate information. HORRIBLE

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback, and we're genuinely sorry for the frustration you experienced. We understand how disappointing it is to miss a tour, especially when you made an effort to communicate. Unfortunately, it seems your message did not reach our team directly — had we received it in time, we would have done our best to assist or wait within reason. This is also why we strongly recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before departure, as traffic in Paris can be unpredictable and our tours must leave on time out of respect for all participants. Best regards,

Total misrepresentation of a visit to a beautiful place!

The house is beautiful. The tour completely sucked. Nothing posted was provided. We had no time there and several points of interest were skipped. It said maximum 10 people. There were 40. So disgusted! Lunch at an old mill restaurant? Had no idea what we were talking about. I'm an experienced traveler and this one just boggles the mind!

Giverny Monet's House and Gardens with Shopping Session Day Trip: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.

How much does Giverny Monet's House and Gardens with Shopping Session Day Trip cost?

    +

Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Giverny Monet's House and Gardens with Shopping Session Day Trip take?

    +

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.

Is Giverny Monet's House and Gardens with Shopping Session Day Trip worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Giverny Monet's House and Gardens with Shopping Session Day Trip?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Giverny Monet's House and Gardens with Shopping Session Day Trip suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Giverny Monet's House and Gardens with Shopping Session Day Trip?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Giverny Monet's House and Gardens with Shopping Session Day Trip start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

    +

Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Paris?

    +

April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Paris?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
