3 Dives
I felt that the French divers were prioritized. We were scheduled to do two dives in the morning and one in the afternoon. For the first two dives, we received no information. We tested our equipment and then got into a car with a driver who didn’t speak English. Once we got to the boat, there was still no information. Later, a man arrived who turned out to be our guide. He wasn’t someone we had met at the facility before; instead, it was an outsourced service, which felt unprofessional. There were five of us with one guide. Although he was skilled, I didn’t feel very safe. For the last dive with the bull sharks, we were given a proper briefing after we had mentioned the lack of one for the earlier dives. We dived with Ceasar as our guide, and he was excellent, making all of us feel safe.

Top-notch French-speaking diving center
Top diving center! This is not the factory, the center is clean in a quiet street, the staff is friendly, speaks French, the equipment is perfectly maintained, Recommended if you want to dive on playa or cozumel where they also have a center.👍🏼👏🏻
Response from the operator: Merci pour votre commentaire ! Je suis heureux que vous ayez eu une bonne expérience avec nous. Nous essayons de rendre nos deux centres de plongée accessibles et confortables pour nos clients. C'est un plaisir de vous avoir eu avec nous, nous espérons vous revoir bientôt !

Excellent experience!
I was recommended Dune by a friend who knew the instructor Louise and I was not disappointed: I had passed my level 1 diving 10 years ago and I could benefit in the morning from a privileged refresher with Itzel who restored my confidence, and in the afternoon the 2 dives with Louise and José were exceptional in every point (supervision, good humor, supervision, pedagogy...) I would recommend ++++ Thanks again to you

True professionals, fantastic company. You're in great hands!
We have returned to dive with Mexico Blue Dream (Dune) years in a row, btu had to skip a year because of the state of the world. COVID has downsized them quite a bit and they moved locations to no longer be on Playa Mamitas beach. But it was the same friendly professional attitudes, attentive dive guides and five star service we remembered. (I'm a dive instructor, I have high standards.) We took the speed boat which was awesome and had incredible dives, able to stay underwater for our whole tanks. Our guide was fantastic. The rental gear was high quality. These guys are true professionals and do an excellent job with communication. I can't say enough great things. They showed us so much kindness and went above and beyond. Thank you! We love you guys and will be back again next year!

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
FunDiving in Cozumel - By Ferry - 2 Tanks in the wonderful Caribbean sea: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.
How much does FunDiving in Cozumel - By Ferry - 2 Tanks in the wonderful Caribbean sea cost?
+
Prices start at $119 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does FunDiving in Cozumel - By Ferry - 2 Tanks in the wonderful Caribbean sea take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.
Is FunDiving in Cozumel - By Ferry - 2 Tanks in the wonderful Caribbean sea worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule FunDiving in Cozumel - By Ferry - 2 Tanks in the wonderful Caribbean sea?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is FunDiving in Cozumel - By Ferry - 2 Tanks in the wonderful Caribbean sea suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book FunDiving in Cozumel - By Ferry - 2 Tanks in the wonderful Caribbean sea?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does FunDiving in Cozumel - By Ferry - 2 Tanks in the wonderful Caribbean sea start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cozumel?
+
On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cozumel?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cozumel?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
