About this experience
The main reason that scuba divers travel the world to get to Tulamben is the USAT Liberty Shipwreck, lying just 40 meters from the beach and certainly the most accessible WW II shipwreck that you are likely to dive A combination of torpedoes and a volcanic eruption have caused this great ship to sit in shallow waters. The top sits in just 5 meters and the rest drops away to around 30 meters meaning all levels of diver can experience parts of this wreck, which is festooned with healthy corals, sea fans and great barrel sponges With an easy shore entry, calm conditions and good visibility, the Tulamben Shipwreck is en excellent dive site for those trying scuba diving for the first time as well as for more experienced divers.

Amazing team
Did the Adventure Diver course + 2 fun dives and some snorkelling. All of the staff were incredible, from the admin staff to the instructors/guides, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. Food on the tours (Padangbai and Tulamben) was also excellent. Cannot recommend them enough!

Awesome dives @ Bali
We used this dive shop twice in this trip and did 5 Dives. They were great. Very attentive and knowledgeable about the dive sites and conditions. We had a fantastic experience. Our Dive Master (wayan ) was great, very easy going and made sure we had a great experience. Highly recommended.

Excellent Dive Operation
I recently did a couple of dives with this shop. From my initial queries on email through the drop-off at my hotel they were very helpful, friendly and professional. Customer Service answered my many emails promptly with accurate, helpful information. I was picked up from my hotel in a timely manner and my DM David was waiting for me at the shop with the required waivers and other paperwork. We were diving with another DM (intern) Dandi who was also very friendly. On my first dive I struggled a little with buoyancy (gotta hate it when you are not diving with your own equipment, right?) and the guys were helpful. On the 2nd dive I lost my weight belt right after entering the water (shore dive); again the guys helped by finding it and getting it back to me. (I haven't worn a weight belt in over 425 dives...and this is a good reason why I like my integrated weights on my own gear--which unfortunately I didn't bring on this trip.) Regardless, the dives were well led with all the appropriate attention to air level, "are you okay?" checks periodically, etc. The staff has a good-working system for getting gear set up and put away. The lunch in between dives was very good and I enjoyed the time to visit with David and Dandi. One thing to be aware of is the drive time. If you are going to Tulamben (wreck site) expect a 2.5 hour drive each way from the dive shop. If I come back to Bali for diving I will definitel

great trip
It's really a wonderful trip. The guide Kai, the photographer David and also Customer Service are very kindly. The waves in Turanben were very big, and when I was getting out of the water, my guide Kai helped me to avoid falling. Photographer took picture and video very well. Next time will be back again.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! We're glad you enjoyed the trip and had a great experience with Kai and David :) We look forward to welcoming you back for another adventure soon! Best Regards, Blue Season Bali

Fantastic last minute dive in Bali
I decided on arrival in Bali to take a scuba diving trip, i wrote to three companies and Blue Season was the first and most enthusiastic in their reply. They arrange a quick trip on my arrival which included picking me up from the airport, a drive to their office and latter drive to the dive site. It was all very professional and an excellent price. The dive was fantastic as we visited a shipwreck close to shore.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled you had a great experience with us. It was our pleasure to help arrange everything for you. We're glad you enjoyed the dive and the shipwreck. We hope to see you back in Bali for more underwater adventures! Safe travels!

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Fun Diving Tulamben Bali - For Certified Divers: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seminyak.
How much does Fun Diving Tulamben Bali - For Certified Divers cost?
+
Prices start at $2850000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seminyak usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Fun Diving Tulamben Bali - For Certified Divers take?
+
Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seminyak is not rushed.
Is Fun Diving Tulamben Bali - For Certified Divers worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 33 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seminyak, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Fun Diving Tulamben Bali - For Certified Divers?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Fun Diving Tulamben Bali - For Certified Divers suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 11-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Fun Diving Tulamben Bali - For Certified Divers?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seminyak can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seminyak and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Fun Diving Tulamben Bali - For Certified Divers start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seminyak within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seminyak?
+
On Outty we rank every Seminyak experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Bali Waterfalls: Tibumana, Tukad Cepung and Tegenungan, Bali Instagram Tour: The Most Scenic Spots, Ubud Hot Springs and Waterfall Private Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seminyak?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seminyak?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
