The Tour will take place in the ancient cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. The vast expanse of the commercial city of Pompeii contrasts with the better preserved remains of Herculaneum. You will take a step back in time, during the Roman era. We will continue with the climb to Mount Vesuvius, the famous mountain that dominates the Gulf of Naples. Reaching its crater means being able to admire a postcard view of the city and enjoy a beautiful walk in nature. Relax in a Mercedes sedan or minivan, with wifi and bottled water on board. Our drivers will speak English, they know the areas you will visit well and will be able to give you excellent advice. You will be picked up directly at the departure point, from the port, station, airport or another location (hotel), you will be dropped off at the exact point of your arrival and you will be assisted with your luggage. Considered one of the symbols that constitute the past and present history of Naples, known throughout the world for the eruption of 79 AD, which destroyed numerous cities of the time including Pompeii and Herculaneum with a rain of ash and lapilli. - Exciting and very suggestive, the visit to the crater of Vesuvius is undoubtedly one of those experiences that you absolutely must try. The excursion is suitable for everyone and does not require specific trekking preparation, it has a total length of almost 4 km between the outward and return journey, with a difference in altitude of around 140 meters and an average gradient of 14% until reaching the maximum altitude of 1,170 meters above sea level. - You will have 1.5 hours free to do this beautiful trek. Archeological Park of Herculaneum
The Roman city of Herculaneum, destroyed and buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, was brought back to the chronicles of history in the eighteenth century thanks to Bourbon explorations. - You will have 1.5 hours free to walk among the ruins of Herculaneum. If you want I can find a guide for you. (the price of the guide and tickets are not included in the tour) - Between one attraction and another, the customer can decide to stop for a typical lunch, in a beautiful restaurant near Pompeii, overlooking Mount Vesuvius. For adults, together with lunch you can have a tasting of typical Vesuvius wines. Afterwards everyone will be able to take a guided tour of the cellars and vineyards. The lunch with visit will last approximately 2 hours. - You will probably need to add extra hours if you add lunch, since it will take more than 8 hours, but we will decide this together. (TASTING IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE, MINIMUM VALUE €45) It can be replaced with another restaurant or eliminated.
