Best tour ever
This is the best tour we have ever taken. First, Mladen helped us to customize the tour to ensure it covers all the places we really want to see, Lovcen National park, Lake Skadar and Ostrog Monastery. Mladen is such a hard working guy that he always respond to our questions within minutes, regardless the time difference. Second, during the tour, we met an excellent tour guide Mili, who is very pleasant, speaks excellent English, and very talkative. Mili picked us up at 8AM, and end the tour at 9PM. We were in a Mercedes Van that has plenty of space, and Mili drove the car very carefully to provide us a smooth and safe ride. He organized the tour very well to give us plenty of time at each stop to explore, took us to a few amazing viewpoints, and accompany us throughout the tour to explain the history, culture and tradition of each place. The breakfast and lunch stops allow us to sample a variety of local food. Overall, this day tour not only enables us to see a lot amazing sights, but also give us insights into the country's culture and its people. We hope to come back in the near future to stay longer in this country and meet Mladen and Mili again.

Great private tour of coastal Montenegro with Veljko
We went to Kotor on a cruise and had few hours available. Our guide Veljko Kadija has been great! He has been able to organize for us a comprehensive visit to the little picturesque village of Perast with a boat excursion to the Church of Our Lady of the Rocks. After a scenic drive around the Mouth of Kotor (Kotor's Fijord), we took a ferry and we drove to the ancient city of Budva. After a stroll in the walled old city, we had a quick lunch on the port and went to take a scenic picture of the scenic semi-island of Sveti Stefan. We finally drove back to Kotor by a mountain road with panoramic views and finished our tour with a visit of the ancient city of Kotor. Veljko has been just great. He is very knowledgeable and provided us plenty of interesting information on the history and traditions of this Country. Bravo!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kotor.
How much does Full-Day Tour of Old Montenegro with Private Guide cost?

Is Full-Day Tour of Old Montenegro with Private Guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kotor, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full-Day Tour of Old Montenegro with Private Guide?
+

Is Full-Day Tour of Old Montenegro with Private Guide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full-Day Tour of Old Montenegro with Private Guide?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kotor can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kotor and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full-Day Tour of Old Montenegro with Private Guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kotor within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kotor?
+
On Outty we rank every Kotor experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Great Montenegro Tour-Lovcen NP,Mausoleum Lovcen,River of Crnojevic,Sveti Stefan, Kotor Bay Escape: Blue Cave, Beach & Swimming Time, Exclusive Blue Cave Kotor Swim, Mamula&Lady of the Rock 3 Hour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kotor?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kotor?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
