One of must see in a life.
Amazing landscapes and history. Wow effect starts already when you travel on the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Clientes. In Machu Picchu we had a a private guide, who was able to answer any of our questions and made the tour comfortable, adjusting to our tempo and walking abilities. One going to such trip should be prepared to hike stairs in Machu Picchu and also to stand in the sun when queuing for the bus in Aguas Clientes.
Response from the operator: Lidia, thanks for your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed Machu Picchu; it's such a majestic Inca city. We’ve rebranded! Our new name reflects our commitment to being an even more personalized agency: www.suntraceperu.com

Our unforgettable Peru vacation
Our best tour ever. Mariela and Maria organized a 7-day tour for us, which was beyond our expectations. The ladies included, a beautiful trip to Machu Picchu, 2 great train journeys, a return flight to Cusco and a boat trip on the Titicaca. The history of the Incas was super interesting, and our guides all spoke English. I give these ladies 5 stars for their full service. And I really recommend them to organize your vacation to Peru. Many thanks and blessings to Mariela and Maria. xoxo Sacha, Dulcie/Ivan and Rubby
Response from the operator: thank you so much Rubby for this unforgettable trip, I hope someday you can come back and get to know other experiences in Peru! hugs to Dulcie, Ivan and Angelica and happy holidays!

Best Peru Tour Ever!!
From the moment I reached to find out more and get pricing information they have been amazing! They customized our trip so that my mom who needs a wheelchair to get around would also be able to enjoy every moment. They are super knowledgeable, helpful, kind, attentive, simply the best people ever! We ran into a complicated situation where we were staying and I reached out to Naomi and she quickly helped us find a hotel so that we can leave that situation. She could’ve easily said that’s not my job but she didn’t!! Without hesitation she helped us and then followed up to make sure we were safe. She even coordinated our transportation to the new place. All the tour guides and transportation were amazing as well! They made the whole experience even better!! From the moment we arrived to Lima to the moment we left they made us feel like family and not tourists they had just met. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Response from the operator: Thank you Anelis!! I hope someday you can return to Peru and enjoy more magical places that Peru has, I wish you a happy new year 2025 of new beginnings and many blessings. Hugs to great family.

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Full Day Private Tour in Machu Picchu: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does Full Day Private Tour in Machu Picchu cost?
+
Prices start at $172 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full Day Private Tour in Machu Picchu take?
+
Plan for about 15 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is Full Day Private Tour in Machu Picchu worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Private Tour in Machu Picchu?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Full Day Private Tour in Machu Picchu suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 15-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Full Day Private Tour in Machu Picchu?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 15-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full Day Private Tour in Machu Picchu start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails and Market Tour in Cusco, Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
