Great tour guide for Rio!
Meilin was excellent! We just did the classic tour and the walking tour too with her. It was very enjoyable. She is knowledgeable, flexible, patient and makes it fun throughout. Highly recommend

A new friend in Rio...top quality Private Guide
We had a wonderful private guided tour of Rio de Janeiro with Meilin Mares Guia, starting right after our cruise arrival. Meilin met us exactly as planned, making the transition from the ship seamless and stress-free. She is extremely knowledgeable and took us to all the hidden gems and sights throughout the city, in addition to the iconic sights everyone sees in Rio like the Christ, Sugarloaf Mountain and of course Copacabana Beach. The tour was flexible and well organized, allowing us to explore at our own pace while learning about Rio’s history, culture, and daily life. We requested a lunch stop on the beach and he brought us to a locally owned restaurant where we enjoyed authentic Brazilian cuisine Everything ran smoothly, and we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the day. I highly recommend booking a private tour with Meilin, especially if you want a deeper, more authentic experience with a native of the city.

Incredible experience
We had an incredible day with Meilin. She made us a personalised tour, was very warm and spoke perfect English. We got to experience many sides of Rio in a relatively short time.

Meilan is Fantastic!
Meilan was fantastic. A wonderful lady you was born and raised in Rio. Very knowledgeable about the city and the country. She knew how avoid crowds and where to go to get the best views. She knew someone at the most of entrances of the site to get us through quickly. I highly recommend spending your time seeing the city with her.

Unreliable- did not show for pre-booked tour.
Not reliable- chose another operator. We did not get to go on this tour despite having a confirmed private tour (our only day in Rio)- as the operator did not show up! When our hotel concierge reached out to them after waiting for 45 min, they advised they were not even in the country!! We were left scrambling and finally joined a group tour, but this was more expensive and we did not get to see the sites we had hoped to- very disappointing. If you have limited time, do not trust this operator.
